Chapter Nineteen
Grey

• Xander rivers

"What do you think your doing!?" Grey asks me. Now your probably wondering who is Grey? Well Grey is a conniving little bitch.

Grey was my brothers mate. Grey was nice and all but I never liked her. One day when we were having out yearly pack Olympics - the pack Olympics is basically when a bunch of packs get together, and compete to see which pack is best - I caught Grey having sex with Jackson, the mountain pride pack leader.

Let's just say, that day mountain pride pack leader, lost all pride. Not only did Jackson cheat on his wife and mate, but my brother lost his mate. My father never let me kick Grey out of the pack, I was how ever able to prevent her from getting her job as a doctor. I had made sure she never got that dream of hers.

Instead she's stuck as a nurse, giving shots and measuring medicine. It never occurred to me she would want revenge. I made her life hell. I had noticed something was wrong with the medicine the other day when we were at the hospital. I suspect now she was trying to overdose Ariana, or just give her enough to kidnap and take her to her step father.

Obviously the rouges did the killings, probably both Grey, and Shaynell left the notes, and that's how they got there so quick. I'm so much closer to finding that bastard now.

"What's it look like I'm doing Grey? I'm in the middle of an interrogation. Who let you in here? Unauthorized, that can you in alot of trouble." I say to Grey.

She gulps. "The beta sent for a doctor." She says immediately. Oh caught in her own lie. "But Your not a doctor Grey." I say to her, as she's checking Shaynells pualse. She starts growling and turns to me.

"I could've been a doctor! I could've had a mate too! It's your fault Alec didn't forgive me! You put seeds of doubt in his mind! Your a bastard! And your gonna pay, if I have to lose my mate, you'll lose yours too!" She says and bolts for the door.

I go to grab her, but her being smaller then me makes her faster. She gets out the door, and locks it behind her with me inside. I growl and feel Xavier start try and take control but I push him down and keep the reins. "Unlock this door now, and maybe, just maybe I wont kill you, Grey" I say in a low and rough voice. "NO! were already in too far, and deep. We're taking action tonight, it's time you pay for your actions Xander." She says and the lack of her traouterous scent lets me know she walked away. I quickly mind link the entire pack,

'attack on the pack! I don't want you injuring anyone. go for the kill!' I get a chorus of yes alphas and cheers, then I mind link, Alec, Jake, and Jace.

'protect Ariana at all costs. Grey is a traitor!'

'that bitch! dad should've let you kick her out when you wanted too.' Alec mind links,
Oh how true that is.

'I'm with Ariana right now." Jake mind links me.
Good, he's my bestfriend and a great warrior, he'll protect her.

"Who's grey?" Jace asks through mind link.
I don't have time for his questioning,  I have to get out of this cell.

I lunge at the door but only end up burning myself. damn it. I forgot we made half the cells door of silver, to decrease chances of prisoners and inmates escaping. Looks like my only chances of getting out are shifting. I feel my eyes darken and my bones start to crack, Xavier starts to take over.

|Xavier|warning: violence|

I take over xander and make him shift into our true form. Well my true form anyway, our huge black wolf, I run and bang into the silver door burning my self but not careing, my need to keep Ariana safe is more important. I keep banging into the door, until it falls off the hinges. upon the door falling I see five men looking at me shocked. Rogues. Obviously Grey, or whoever is the brains of their plan sent them here to make sure I stay locked up. The men start shifting, so I quickly lunge at them.
