Chapter Two
Mate

We arrived at school and I smell this amazing smell, like pine, cinnamon, and mint.

My wolf Aria went crazy and I knew it was my mate. I just hope he doesn't reject me. Me and Jace head to the main office. (A/N I'm not sure what it's called I'm homeschooled and I've never been to public school) Me and Jace head to the main office to get our class sceduals.

First period.
Math, Mrs. Jen.

Second period.
Gum, Mrs. Matthew.

Third period.
Science, Mr. Schneider.

Fourth period.
Vocabulary, Mrs. Moore.

Fifth period.
Lunch.

Sixth period.
Art, Mr. Rin.

Seventh period.
P.E., Mr. Kailie.

Eighth period.
Literature, Ms. McGrath.

I look at my schedule and smile when I see art. I love art, it seems when I do art, I can escape my self and get lost in drawing.

"What locker do you have?" Jace asks. "Locker thirteen, what about you?" I say, and ask back. "Lol two hundred and eighty seven." He says.

"Okay, I'm gonna go find my locker. I'll see you at lunch" I say to him. "Okay, be careful and Ari remember dad said 'no friends'" Jace warns me. I reply with "I know Jace." And walk off to find my locker, while he walks to his the other way.

It sucks not having any friends. Marcus doesn't let me and Jace have any friends because the more friends, the more chances some one will notice he's abusive.

The less friends, the longer we stay in one place. My brother and I are company enough for each other, but Jace is a little annoying sometimes.

And once Jace graduates high school, he'll be old enough to live on his own. He'll leave me and join some pack, and I'll be on my own.

I reach my locker and open it. I see a bunch of books and grab my math, English, and science books and put them in my back pack.

Then I walk off to first period and then I smell that sent again. like pine, cinnamon, and mint with just a hint of something muscular. Aria, my wolf goes crazy.

"Mate I can smell him, come on lets find him" Aria begs and demands me.

"No we can't just run off looking for our mate, we haven't even seen him yet" I say to her. 

"Come on Arianna we need mate" she began me again.

"No Aria, we can't see him yet. We don't even know if he'll reject us, and were gonna be late for class." I say to her with a smirk.

"Ugh fine I hate when your right" she says annoyed.

"I know" I say smugly.

I get to class and take my seat, a lot of people are staring at me because I'm the 'new kid.' Class starts when Mrs. Jen walks in.

She starts talking. "Class we have a new student here with us today make her feel welcome." As if I needed an introduction, people already know I'm new.

After about ten minutes of class, a boy walks in class. He looked really hot and beautiful at the same time.

He had brownish black hair that kinda curved up. He had an black shirt that I could see his muscles through, he had some jeans on. And then Aria my wolf started going crazy.
"Mate" was all she was saying.
