Saying that the countries were panicking was an understatement. Africa was gone. All those personifications were gone. An emergency world meeting was called and in many ways it was just as Rome predicted, complete and utter chaos.
Israel sat quietly as everyone blamed one another; America in the thick of it. Many blaming him.
"Shut up!" A voice screamed from the entrance as the last remaining African country stood in the doorway. Seychelles stood there before the others. "...help."
France and England dash to her side as she leaned against the wall. She was covered in whip marks with what looked like a small but deep cut on her chest. The entire meeting gathered around them before France forced his way through to get her metal attention.
"It was Rome... he's back..." She quietly muttered. Most thought she was being delusional in her major blood loss state. Others felt their blood run cold. And one... felt guilt.

"Israel..." America followed the smaller country into her house. She seemed out of it, but who could be blame her.
"He's going to finish what he started." Israel whispered, shaking softly as she sat down on her couch. "Rome's going to kill me like he did my father." She was starting to hyperventilate.
America gently squeezed her shoulders. She flinched a little before relaxing.
"I'm not going to let that happen." America said gently but honestly. "I promise."
"You don't know that power hungry wolf." Israel whispered. "He just kept eating up more land until it destroyed... but now..." America hugged her.
"It'll be okay. I swear, honey."

Russia followed China around after the meeting. "You know something Da?"
"What are you taking about aru!?"
"Nyet. I know you know something about the return of Rome." China paled a little.
"I have no clue what you mean..."
"You do." Russia actually looked terrifying. "This could mean the death of counties on a scale we haven't seen since ancient times. And I..." Russia looked down at the ground with a sigh. "I've come too far to die yet."
China shivered and looked at the ground sadly.
"I don't know what's he's planning... I'm... Im sorry."

"Maybe this isn't a good idea..."
"But you already made the deal..." The Roman ghost glared at him. He had was already starting to feel more alive slowly, but still couldn't completely be on earth permanently. It was an odd weightless feeling that reminded him constantly that he was still not a living personification.
"I know you would be destructive, but... an entire continent!? That wasn't the plan!" Alfred yelled.
"Oh please. I let one live and besides they weren't worth keeping alive."
"Rome... this is insane." Alfred whispered. For once, feeling scared for the deal he had made with the powerful empire.
"Something you also knew at the beginning of all of this and you can't back out of it now." Rome said threateningly.
"There has to be some way... I didn't want you to slaughter this many... of those who couldn't cause you much damage." Alfred backed away from Rome a little. Oh god, what had he done. Rome just smiled.
"What are you so concerned over? The ones you love aren't going to die. Just because your girlfriend is afraid doesn't mean you can back out." Alfred shook his head as Rome talked.
"It's not only that. I'm supposed to be the hero. Yes, sometimes sacrifices should be made, but... this... this is just a slaughter. There is no reason those countries and all those innocent people had to die!" Alfred glared at the ghost. "I Expected you to kill the powerful countries! I expected you to leave a power vacuum for us to fill! You aren't supposed to go after Africa! This isn't for the great or good anymore! This is too fill your own stupid ambition and greed! I want no part of it! I'm sure England or one of the magic trio will have some way to get rid of you!" Alfred screamed and turned to leave. Rome quickly fazed into him and America found he couldn't reach for the door; his hands wouldn't reach for the door knob.
"Stop it! Get out of me, Rome! Get out!" America yelled, but he was loosing more and more control.
"I have come to far for you to back out of this now, America!" Rome hissed in return. Then America turned still. Everything was silent a moment.

"Mexico!" Brazil banged on his door. "Let me in! Please!" A very tired Mexico opened his front door on the middle of the night.
"What's...." His tired eyes widened as the blood drenched country leaned against his doorway.
"Help..." He passed out and Mexico barely caught him before he hit the ground. A long stream of Spanish curses left his mouth.
"Brazil, what the hell happened to you!?" Mexico yelled, pulling the other Latin America country inside. He set him on the couch as he quickly began patching up his wounds.
"She was right." Brazil said closing his eyes. Mexico looked at him confused.
"It was Rome... their all dead..." He was crying now. "All of South America their gone..." Mexico went completely still.
"You can't be serious.... Argentina... Columbia... Venezuela.... Chile..." Mexico listed in denial. They couldn't all be gone... could they?
"All of them..." Brazil cried. "I barely got away and... I'm not even sure I'll..."
"Don't speak like that Brazil! You'll be just fine! You've survived worse than this!" Mexico screams at him as kept patching him up.
"Please, call Portugal. I want to see him before I..."
"You're not going to fade away Brazil! I won't let you! So shut up!" Mexico screamed. "I'll call him though."
....
It was now every country for themselves. Many not even coming to next world meeting. The magic trio was trying to use magic to find out how Rome was back and so powerful.
In the mists of a spell came a knock at the door. They all froze.
