Chapter 17

Taehyung POV
After lunch after punch, I start to feel weaker. I accidentally drop the phone and the room was filled with silence. He walks around and picks up the phone.

"You trying to call someone! Hello! Is anyone there?"
He says mocking me. He laughs and smashes the phone on the floor.
"Let go on to other tools of pain."
He pulls out a small pocket knife. He smirks as he slowly drags the blade along my skin. I try not to scream, but I wince in pain.

"Hmm that's not the reaction I want, but it'll do for now."
He smirks.

Mae Pov
As soon as I got out of the car, I threw the driver some money and ran in as fast as I could. As I got closer I could hear cries of pain and a sinister laugh. It was a small warehouse so it wasn't hard to find them. When I did, I see a horrifying sight.

"S.coups?"
I feel tears screaming down my face. He freezes. Taehyung looks at me with wide eyes. "

"Mae!"
S.coups turns around.

"M-mae? W-what are you doing here?"
I feel my blood boil. I stomp over toward him and slap him.

"Why the hell are doing this?! Getting rid of him isn't going to change my feelings for you!"
He stood there just staring at me as he holds his cheek.

"H-he hurt you. He hurt you! Why do like him anyway?! I was always there for you! But you chose home even after he hurt you!"
He yells angrily throwing the knife in my direction out of frustration. I move so it doesn't hit my face, but I ended up with a small cut. I touch my face and see blood on my fingers. Taehyung eyes widen and he struggles to get out of his chair.

"M-Mae I-I didn't mean to-"
I interrupt him.

"You're not the s.coups I know. He would never ever hurt me."
I turn to Taehyung and help him out of the ropes. He instantly attacks s.coups once I let him out.
"Taehyung!"
They start throwing punches at each other and I try to stop them. They roll towards the hole in the wall. They eventually stand up and continued their fight. Taehyung throws a punch, but s.coup catches it. He swings his other arm, but s.coup catches both arms.

"If I can't have her then you can't either."
My eyes widen, knowing what he was going to do.
Everything slows down. I run towards them. Before they fell, I grab Taehyung and pull him up as I fall down with s.coups. He realizes what happens and tries to reach for me, but I was too far. I smile to him and he screams for me. I let s.coups hold me because I knew this would be the last time. As I was about reach my death, I knew I had to say something to him before I died. So I tried and scream.

"TAEHYUNG!"
I was shocked to hear my voice that loud, but I knew I didn't have much time. I was getting closer to the deep water. I catch his attention. Right before I hit the water I scream,

"I love you."

I fall into the deep water. I feel death come closer as I run out of oxygen. I slowly start to lose consciousness. Darkness filled my vision just as water filled my lungs.
