4 o'clock

Chapter 18

Taehyung POV
I saw the love of my life fall to her death. She screams my name, which was something she couldn't do.
Those words kept repeating in my head as I ran down the hill toward the water. I quickly swam trying to find her. It was dark, but I see her slowly sinking. I grab her arm and wrap my arms around her and brought her up to the surface. I swam her back to shore and laid her on the sand. I perform cpr on her. My vision was blurred by the tear in my eyes. She suddenly coughs up water, but she's still unconscious. I smile holding her in my arms knowing she was alive. I didn't notice how much blood I was loosing and eventually blacked out.

Author POV
There was a boat a little far from the cliff. The people on the boat were relaxing until they heard a voice which seemed like it was falling.

"TAEHYUNG!"
They look in the direction of the voice and see two people falling. They immediately drive their boat toward them. They see a boy grab the girl out of the water, but not the other boy. On of the passengers dives in and saves the other boy. They see Mae and Taehyung passed out on the shore. They call the ambulance and take them to the hospital.

Jimin POV
Jennie and I were hanging out in the place where I would confess to her.

"Jennie I have to tell you something."
She turns to look at me waiting for me to say something.
"I-"
My phone suddenly rings. I groan and I pick it up.

"Hello?"

"Are you Lee Mae's cousin?"

"Yes why?"

"She's been hospitalized. Please come by whenever you can."
My eyes widen and I quickly end the call. I gather my things.

"Where are you going?"
She asked.

"Mae is in the hospital."
We quickly made it to the hospital.
"Where's lee Mae?"
I question the front desk. He points me in the direction of the room. I go into the room and see her sleeping peacefully.

"Are you her cousin?"
I turn to see the doctor. I nod. He leads me outside the room and closes the door so he can speak privately.

"What happened?"

"She doesn't have an severe injuries. She almost drowned but she was save just in time."

"May I know who saved her?"

"A young man named Kim Taehyung, but it looked like he was beaten badly."

"Where is he now?"
The doctor points to the room next to Mae's.

"And one more thing."
I turn towards the doctor.

"I don't know how to say this but....she's mute.

Mae POV
I open my eyes to see a bright white room.
Is this what heaven looks like?

"Mae!"
I feel a pair of arms wrap around me. I turn to see Jimin. I try to say something but nothing came out. He pulls away from the hug and started crying. I didn't know what was going on.
Why can't I talk?
I look at Jimin for help, but he continues to shed tears. He pulls me in for another hug.
"Mae....you're m-mute."
Everything stops. I feel hot tears run down my face as I sit there frozen. Jimin sobs harder into my shoulder, but I just sat there not moving at all.
I'm.....mute
