Being the only girl on a team of boys, plus being a tenth member, which is one more player than needed, wasn't easy. Ahtziri always got teased by the boys simply because she was a girl on a boys' team, but she knew it was all just good jokes and fun.

Nobody loved baseball more than Benny Rodriguez, that was for sure, but Ahtziri came close and that's why Benny loved her. You'd think a boy this young wouldn't know love when he saw it, but when he saw her, he looked like a love struck puppy waiting to be picked up. The gang teased him a lot for it, but when he finally had her as his, they became jealous.

"Ziri, you're batting now." Benny told the girl, holding the bat in front of her. "Benny you know I can't hit." She sighed, crossing her arms, the rest of the boys agreeing with her. "Benny man, she hits like a girl!" Yeah-Yeah protested, motioning to her and showing the obvious fact that she was a girl. Benny turned to his friend after Ziri sighed and grabbed the bat. "You run like a duck!" He laughed, running off to the pitcher's mound.

Ahtziri reluctantly ran to stand in front of Ham, getting ready for Benny's throw. The boy nodded to her with a smirk, earning a nod back signaling she was ready. He threw a fast one, but what happened next shocked them all. There was a loud thud when the bat hit the ball, causing it to soar across the lot and over the fence, or, "out of the park". She ran to home with no problem and all of them cheering.

"Eat my dust." She smirked at Yeah-Yeah, kicking dirt on his legs and laughing. "You still hit like a girl." He chuckled. Benny wrapped an arm around her shoulders, "But she hits like my girl." He smiled, causing her to blush as he gave her a kiss on the lips. "Ewww!" The rest exaggerated, sticking their tongues out. The two laughed at them.
