Katherine and Leo were best friends, two peas in a pod, inseparable, they could even put Haim and Feldman to shame. Who are we kidding? Nobody can do that, but Kat and Leo come close. Just never put all four of them in the same room. The two always somehow ended up being co stars in movies they did, since Katherine was a rising actress like he was.

They both were filming a new movie at the moment, rehearsing lines. Once they finished their last scene, they took a break. Katherine sat down in her chair, (wtf are those chairs called). She was thinking to herself about her performance, until Leo came up with a smile and tore her from her thoughts.

"Hey Kat!" He said, seeming extremely happy. He's a happy person, but he's never been this happy. "Hey..Leo." Kat chuckled a bit at how radiant he was. "I have a question." He told her, setting his script down in his chair. "What is it?" She waited. He licked his lips before speaking, "Would you like to go on a date with me?" He asked her, a hopeful smile on his face.

She grew the biggest smile she had ever wore on her face, "No, I would love to go on a date with you." She answered, causing him to smile even bigger and give her a kiss on the cheek before walking off. Her face had never been redder. She'd liked him for god knows how long, she'd dreamt of the day he'd ask her out, and it finally happened.

Kat went home to her hotel room that night as happy as could be, excited and anxious for tomorrow night.

The next day went by abnormally fast, it already being 7 o'clock pm, one hour before Leo was picking her up. She of course started getting ready right away, already having her outfit on. It was a casual outfit. The girl sat stood in front of the bathroom mirror, carefully putting on a bit of makeup, but not too much, just mascara, lip gloss and some light eyeshadow.

She straightened her hair, putting a headband in it afterwards. Her shoes were a pair of black and white high rise converse. Once she thought she was good to go, she studied herself in the mirror, doing a few poses to test out her look. She felt she looked okay. Now all she had to do was wait.

Katherine heard a knock on the door right when her watch change to 8:00, she smiled and stood up, walking up to the door and looking through the peep hole. She took a deep breath before opening the door to reveal Leo in an outfit just as casual, Katherine letting out a small sigh of relief that she hadn't dressed for the wrong type of date.

"Are you ready?" He asked her, earning a smile and a nod from the girl. He smiled and grabbed her hand, the two walking out of the room and down the hall before walking out the entrance. He had everything planned out for that night. He was gonna take her to the arcade, then the movies, then ice cream, and a special surprise for the end.

"So, where are we going?" She asked him, looking around as they walked down the sidewalk. "First, we're going to the arcade." He answered, smiling. She looked at him and smiled, "First? There's more?" She chuckled, earning a nod from him. She was excited and honestly impatient for what else he had planned.

The pair arrived at the arcade, "I'll pay." Katherine said, causing Leo to look at her. "First rule of first dates, the gentleman always pays." He told her, smiling as he took out his wallet. She let out a sigh before smiling and playfully rolling her eyes. He finished paying and they walked inside.

They spent a good hour and thirty minutes before leaving, Katherine now holding a stuffed bear and pictures from the photo booth. The smiles never left their faces. They made it to the theater, trying to decide what movie to see before finally deciding on Dazed and Confused. You can't go wrong with McConaughey. Of course, Leo payed for their tickets and popcorn, walking into the assigned theater room and sitting down just as the movie started.

Leo and Katherine slowly walked around town, eating ice cream cones and still laughing about the movie. They stopped at a park and sat under a willow tree. Leo turned to Katherine, having finished his ice cream. "Kat, I've liked you for so long, I could barely hold it in anymore before I finally asked you on a date." He smiled, causing her to blush and smile.

"I've liked you for a long-." Her sentence was cut short when two hands grabbed her cheeks and she felt a pair of soft lips collide with her own. Her eyes stood wide before fluttering close and melting into the kiss. He slowly pulled away, looking into her piercing eyes. "Katherine, will you be my girlfriend?" He asked her.

She nodded, smiling. "Yes, I will." They kissed one more time. They were both happy, still wearing the smiles they gave each other.
