Sorry for the shorter chapter. I wanted to make sure that we get both Ameena and Theons point of view during their meeting and the events leading up to it. I hope you enjoy it, as always vote and comment to let me know what you think!

We were closing in on the area the Moder was seen. As Cyrus and I made our way out to the 3rd sector, Jerrard's voice had been echoing the last words he spoke to me before sending us out on our mission.
Oh and Lieutenant Pierce, if you find any Moders. Kill them.
His words both shocked and horrified me. Kill them? Our mission with The Legion was to bring back Moders alive, if we killed them then we were no better than them. While his words left a sense of unease in the pit of my stomach, they were still orders, and orders must be followed.
"I can't believe we might actually get to kill some Moders today." Cyrus chattered excitedly.
I clenched my jaw at his words, my hands tightening around my gun, he really knew exactly what to say to piss me off. I remained quiet, if I opened my mouth I couldn't guarantee what would come out.
"Aren't you ready to get some payback?" he said giving my shoulder a pat. I stopped dead in my tracks at his touch. Anger swelled inside of me and I knew I wasn't going to be able to hold back much longer. "what's your deal man? I heard about how those scum killed your fam-" I cut him off with a shove to the chest pinning him against a nearby tree.
"Don't you ever talk about my family again." I said inches away from his face. I could see fear reflecting in his eyes. He tried to shove me back but his push did nothing. I had always been strong, stronger than most men my age, but my strength startled me just as much as it did him. I let go and stalked away from him and turned and resumed walking towards Sector 3.
"Geeze Pierce, I thought you were gonna deck me." He said with an uncomfortable laugh.
"Don't temp me." I said without looking in his direction. We walked in silence for a few minutes, the only sound was the crunching of our boots through the forest.
"Do you think we're getting close?" Cyrus asked. This guy seriously didn't know how to shut up. I opened my mouth to reply with a sarcastic comment, but broke off when I heard the droning of warning sirens in the distance. We shared a shocked look and ran towards the sound.
As we kept running the sound got stronger. The Moders must have set up a warning system in case their camp was ever discovered, so we had to be close. No sooner than that thought bullets started spraying out of the forest. Cyrus groaned as one just barely grazed his arm. I began to fire back, only I didn't know where the shots were coming from so I shot in the direction of my best guess. I heard a small grunt and stifled cry of pain in the distance and the shooting stopped. I heard the sound of a retreat somewhere close in the woods.
I turned my attention to Cyrus who was cursing under his breath examining his bleeding arm. I stepped closer to get a better look at his injury. After determining it was nothing serious. I told him to run back to the vehicle, drive back to base, and to send back up as soon as he could.
"what about you?" he asked.
"I'm going after them." I told him. He merely nodded and turned to run towards where we left the jeep just outside the entrance to the woods.
"Ready or not here I come." I said quietly to myself. Whoever was out there couldn't have gotten far, injured. I took off into the woods after them.
