This chapter is a bit longer than the others recently and it is very cheesy and cliché. I hope you enjoy! Please vote and let me know what you are thinking through comments!!!

I ran south for about 4 miles, before coming upon our camp from the previous night. I quickly gathered his pack, which included his first aid kit, food rations and other necessities, I turned and quickly grabbed the sleeping bag I had slept in the night before, and the automatic fire starter that now sat next to the smoldering pile of ash.
I had to get back to him before he woke up. I didn't want him to wakeup alone and think that I abandoned him, he needed to know that I am there. I ran as fast as I could and made it back to him in less than 10 minutes.
I found him unmoved when I returned, thankful that he hadn't woken to find me gone. I removed the bandages I had placed around his wounds, gasping when I saw how much worse they had gotten since I left him no more than an hour ago. I had made sure the bleeding had stopped before I left him, but now his wounds had festered, especially the bite.
I placed my hand on his fore head then moved it to his cheek. He was starting to break a fever, infection was starting to set in, and I didn't have much time. I quickly rummaged around in the small first aid kit and grabbed the antiseptic and poured it on his wounds starting with his shoulder, thankful that he wasn't awake because this was going to be very painful. I sent up a silent prayer that he would be alright. I added what was left of the antibiotic ointment on his wounds and wrapped him back up with bandages, praying it would be enough to keep the infection contained until his body could recover.
All that was left was to keep watch and wait until he woke up, if he woke up.
8 hours later
It was approaching nightfall and Theon still hadn't woken up. I had set up camp in a shallow cave near the bottom of the cliffs so our back would be protected from animals or anything else that wanted to kill us. In the mouth of the cave I had set up a fire. During the day I was able to gather some fresh water from a mountain stream and boiled it to make sure it was free of bacteria and other parasites. On the way back to Theon I had found a bee hive and risked a few stings for the honey, that could be used as an antibiotic.
I had wrapped Theon in the sleeping bag and dressed his wounds with the antiseptic and honey wrapping new bandages around him every few hours. I was sitting by the fire preparing food when I heard my name called weakly from behind me.
I turned hope filling my eyes seeing Theon trying to sit up. "Hey, Hey! Calm down let me help you." I said walking to his side.
"What happened?" he asked his throat dry. I got him a cup of water brought it to his lips and lifted it slowly allowing him to drink. "You fought a grizzly and lost."
When he had his fill I brought the cup down. "Thank you." He said quietly. I nodded helping him into a sitting position then walked back to the supplies and returned with another cup.
"Can you move your arm?" I asked kneeling down at his side. He raised his arm with a wince, I nodded at least the bite had not severed the tendons. "Here, drink." I told him placing the cup in his unaffected hand. He brought the cup up to his nose and sniffed, giving me a questioning look.
"Its willow bark tea." I told him with a solemn look, trying to hide the hurt that he didn't trust me. "It will help with the pain and the fever."
He looked me in the eyes for a moment longer before bringing the cup to his lips. We sat in silence for a moment. "How did survive?" he asked breaking the silence.
"well," I started. "you were able to distract the animal long enough for me to slit its throat."
He let out a humorless chuckle. "though girl." He said with a glint in his eyes that made my body heat up.
I began removing his bandages, he watched me in silence while I cleaned. While I was adding the honey, I noticed his puzzled expression. "It's honey." I said wrapping him back up. "I got stung a few times to get it, but it will help with the infection." I brought my hand again to his forehead and cheeks checking his temperature, he still felt warm but the willow bark began to bring his fever down.
"How do you know all this?" Theon asked after a few minutes.
"Growing up a Moder refugee, you don't have access to medicine, you know?" I said flatly, to which he simply nodded. Did he even know what he was? But I knew now was not the time to bring it up. "Are you hungry?" I asked remembering the food I had been preparing before he had woken up.
He nodded then added, "What were you making? It smells good."
I smiled a devilish smile. "Bear."
"Are you serious?" He asked shock clear on his face.
"Well I wasn't just going to waste perfectly good meat." I laughed. "Plus, think of this as some form of pay back." I smiled and brought him a piece of meat. He gave me a pointed look to show me he did not appreciate my joke but took the food and didn't protest. Cutting a piece for myself I sat down next to him and we ate in silence.
After we had finished. I cleaned the plates best I could with some water, and placed them by the fire to dry before returning to Theon's side.
"Why didn't you just leave me?" he asked in a quiet voice after a moment.
I stared at him in shock, leaving him had never even crossed my mind. "I couldn't." His brown eyes snapped up to meet my own. "We aren't the monsters you think we are." I said quietly looking down.
There was a beat of silence. "I don't see a monster." He said, and I could feel my cheeks heating at his words.
We sat like that for a long time, just watching the flames dance. It was well past dark by this point, I got up and added a few more logs to the fire. Sitting back down I pulled my arms close around my body. "Are you cold?" Theon asked looking at me.
"A little." I admitted.
"Here," he said removing the blanket from around his shoulders.
"No." I said quietly touching his hand to stop him "You need it more than I do, I'll just move closer to the fire."
"Ameena, seriously. Take it." He said trying to drape it around my shoulders with his one good arm.
I smiled softly at him, scooting closer to his left side until our shoulders were touching, and draped the blanket around both our shoulders. He stiffened at my touch, and I surprised myself when a laugh came from my lips. "Relax, I don't bite." His body still didn't relax as I snuggled in deeper into his left side. "Seriously Theon, I'm not going to molest you or anything I just want some body heat." I laughed.
He reluctantly relaxed against me and we sat like with our backs against the wall of the cave and watched the flames dance. Before I knew it my eye lids grew heavier and heavier until I sank into sleep.
