We're going to Dairy Queen!! Yay!!

When we got there, Adi ordered an Orange Julius, Tal ordered an Oreo Blizzard, and I got a Fudge Brownie Sundae.

I grabbed my spoon and dug in! I couldn't wait- it was making my mouth water! I took a bite of the warm brownie, and my eyes lit up.

"Is it good?" Adi asked me.

"Mmhm!" I smiled.

The whipped cream was perfectly swirled and the hot fudge was all melty, dripping down my bowl. I ate slowly so I could savor each warm, gooey bite.

Maybe being adopted was my fate. Sure, I want to find my real parents someday, but I love Tal! He's not exactly "fatherly", you could say. He was pretty laid back, so he wasn't strict with me. I could almost do whatever I wanted with him. But that didn't matter to me.

*LATER THAT DAY*

Tal and I were home now, ranting about how good our ice cream was.

"What did you think about Adi," he asked me.

"He looks a lot like you. You have your differences, though. He was super nice! We should visit him again soon," I replied.

When we were done chatting, we sat down to watch a movie. we decided to watch Coraline. It was definitely a kids' movie, but we both liked it.

Imagine if we all had button eyes, I shuddered, thinking to myself.

The movie was over, and I was awfully tired. I said goodnight and dove into my cozy sheets.

Goodnight, Tal.

You are the best thing that's ever happened to me...

☺️💛
