Tal and I walked into the old building. Miss Wilkins greeted us, and said, "Long time no see, Adaline" she winked at me and I ran off to catch up with the girls. I could hear their voices from the other room, but I couldn't make it what they were saying.

Julienne was the first one to greet me. "Addi!!" she raved in excitement. I could see smiles on everyone's faces. This orphanage had been my home for so long. These girls were my rock. I hugged everyone and then I told them all about my life with Tal.

I got so many questions from them.

"Does he like to cook?"

"Do you call him 'Dad' now?"

"Is he a good man?"

I answered all of them. I felt bad that the girls still didn't have a home yet, but we all found a silver lining: each other. Our bond was very strong and stopping us would be impossible.

After what seemed like 10 minutes, I heard my name. "Adaline!" Tal called out fo me. I glanced at the girls and said, "gotta go". They nodded with confidence,  and I'm sure they were getting ready to text me.

My brown hair swept back as I ran towards his voice.

"Yes?" my emerald green eyes shifted back and forth between Tal and Miss Wilkins.

"We found them." Miss Wilkins blurted.
