Tal came in an explained the situation. That he adapted me. That I was happy. That I was looking for them for so long. It left us all in tears. Some happy, some sad. It was a milestone for me.
"She's been amazing," Tal folded them.
"Thank you," Avon said, "for finding us," Mia added on.
We then started talking about who I would live with-- Mia and Avon wanted me to stay with them, but what about Tal...?
"I've been a Fishman for a while now... but being my true self -- a Briddge would be a huge dicision," I said. I was at a tie-breaker. Staying with Tal... or staying with my true parents.
I would end up breaking someone's heart either way. I was crying and it was all in the moment. I couldn't bear to leave anyone behind.
"Addi, it's okay if you go with them. I won't be hurt," Tal said sincerely. I nodded, and Mia turned to me.
"Addi. Take your time. This is your decision. It's okay," she said. Yet again, I nodded.
I went up to Tal and hugged him tighter than ever. I knew what I had to do... I thanked him for everything... I told him it would be okay... I looked him in the eye with such significance of pain and stress and said.....
....
"Goodbye".
