this is a couple months after the last part, just to clarify
finally the big day had come, the boys long awaited comeback stage and exciting fan signing. the members were all anxious, seperated into small groups and reacting in different ways.
seungcheol walked around to each member, hoping to calm them down, even though he was anxious himself. jeonghan was with chan, the two were conversing about how large the stage could or couldnt be.
hansol and seungkwan sat together on a black leather couch, and the blondes face was pressed into the olders neck, panicking silently. hansol brushed the boys hair with his fingers, trying to sooth the poor boy and whispered whatever he could to help.
wonwoo and mingyu were rehearsing their parts, and due to the distraction their nerves were calmer than everyone elses. the two boys were confident, but the fear of failure was still proding around their minds. their main worry was the choreography, not trusting their long legs to carry them gracefully across the stage.
seokmin and jisoo sat together, also rehearsing, and the two chinese members stood near the door to the stage, minghao trying to conceal his panic while junhui comforted him. the two were speaking in chinese, getting their thoughts and feelings across much easier than they would trying to speak in korean.
soonyoung and jihoon stood at the back of the room, the furthest away from everyone else because of the dark haired boys panic. he was on the verge of tears, too many thoughts racing around his head and jihoon pulled him into a tight embrace.
the blonde started whispering, his voice soft and soothing and he hoped that the other could find comfort in he was saying. soonyoung couldnt help but feel terrified, of the performance, the signing, the announcement, of absolutely everything.
the performance could go one of two ways, and even with jihoon telling him itd go amazingly well and eveyone would enjoy it, the older couldnt help but think that the fans could be disappointed in them. the choreography was different than their normal stuff and while soonyoung was confident, he still had his worries.
the fansign afterwards also scared him, the encounters not always pleasant. soonyoung knew he had fans that hated him, he knew about fans that hated their choreography, and hed had a few that hated his voice. the older knew his voice would never be as good as seokmins or jeonghans, but he did take lessons to strengthen it and make it sound a lot better.
the announcement was by far the thing that scared him to the core. he was not only coming out to every fan in the room, he was doing it with jihoon and the fans reactions could vary greatly. they could hate them both, or only hate one of them, and soonyoung couldnt handle anyone ever hating jihoon. he was even more scared about the fans who loved their favourites, a little too much, the ones who wanted their favourites to be with no one unless it was themselves.
soonyoung connected his lips with the shorters, a short, sweet and reassuring moment, and rested his forehead against the others, sighing heavily. he grabbed the boys small hand, and pulled him toward the door with the others.
the boys walked onto the stage getting into their positions, relaxing their bodies and waiting. the lights rose and the music started, and the group started. hansol led the first verse, his voice soft and sweet, leading into soonyoungs part.
