Donna speaking
Harvey speaking"I want something more and I've never said that out loud before but I can't keep pretending that it's not true anymore."
"What do you mean more?"
"I don't know...I guess I'm gonna have to figure that out"She wiped the tear from her face, and built up the courage to walk away.
"Good night Harvey"
He couldn't imagine losing her, not as his secretary, as something more. Without thinking he caught her wrist.
"Donna wait"
"What?"
"I-I'
"I'm tired. I'm going home"
"No wait please... You are the most amazing and beautiful woman I know and I know you're gonna go places. You could have any man you wanted but some of us have been too cowardly to man up and tell you how we feel."
"Harvey don't"
"I'm not doing this because I pity you Donna. I'm doing it for myself, because I want a chance to be there for you. Not as friend. As someone you can fall asleep next to after a long day, someone you can hold and forget all the worries in the world. And I'm tired of acting like it's not true, I'm tired of acting like I don't love you like that because I do."She was shocked. Even speechless and she was never speechless. She had wanted him to say it for so long but now he had said it she didn't know what to do. Donna knew that her relationship with Harvey was special but she was afraid of what it would become.
"I don't know what you want me to say"
"I just wanted you to know... and think about... us. I guess"
"Harvey I cant do this again. I waited for you for so long and now I'm finally moving on"
"I just wanted you to know that I- I finally got my shit together and I- I realised that you are the only person who has been there for me for so long and now you're the only one I can imagine myself with"
"So you want us to try?"
"Yeah, if you want to"
"Ok. Well I'm not feeling so tired anymore so how about we go to dinner"
"I'd love to"
"You're paying"
