Donna was awoke by the loud ringing and buzzing of her phone on her hard wood bedside drawer. She reached her hand put and picked the phone up, bringing it to her ear.
"Hello" she said groggily.
"Hello. Is this a Miss Donna Paulsen?"
"Yes. Can I help you?"
"I'm Nurse Vicky and I'm calling from New York Presbyterian hospital..."
Donna immediately sat up straight in her bed. Dreading what would follow.
"We have you listed as the emergency contact for Harvey Specter"
Her stomach dropped and her heart began to race at the sound of his name.
"What happened? Is he OK?" She panicked.
"He was involved in a car crash earlier tonight and..." the nurse trailed leaving Donna in suspense, "oh my God! I can't believe it, I'm so stupid"
"What are you-" the nurse cut her off.
"I mixed up Harvey Specter with Harvey Spencer. I'm so sorry Miss. I can't believe I did that, in all my years... I'm so very sorry ma'am. I'm sure your Harvey is fine" said the nurse.
"Oh thank god" Donna gasped out between sobs.
"Have a good night ma'am" the phone switched off as soon as Donna burst into tears.
"Damn you Harvey! She exclaimed.

At 4AM Harvey woke up to the sound of persistent knocks on his door. He stumbled out of bed and on reaching the front door he swung it open. Before he had a chance to speak the person threw themselves into his arms. Donna's quite sobs filled he room and her head remained buried in his shoulder. He suddenly felt overly protective and worried, his arms encircled her waist and his hand moved in soothing motions on her back.
"Donna? What happened? Are you OK?" He stepped back to examine her, a frowned appeared on his face when he saw the tears falling down her face.
"The- the hospital called a-and they said y-you-" she stammered
"Hey... slow down" he said softly.
"There was a mix-up at the hospital and they... they told me you were in a car crash and I... I don't know what I'd do without you" she whispered those last few words.
He just stared a her, completely star-struck by her confession. Was that was it was? A confession? He was bought back to reality when she stepped away from him.
"I-I'm sorry I woke you. I should leave" and with that she turned and headed for the door.
Realisation dawned on him. She was leaving and his body reacted before his mind had time to catch up.
"Hey wait..." he caught her wrist and she spun round to face him. Suddenly his lips were on hers, warm and inviting. She didn't pull back, she didn't lean in. She just- froze.
He pulled back and looked at the expression on her face. One of confusion and surprise but nothing bad, nothing that told him she was against him kissing her.
"I'm sorry. I don't know what I'd do without you either" he admitted.
And with that being said she pulled him into another passionate kiss.
