Jiyong came through the door a few minutes after Yuna stomped out, trailed by the young maid that I ordered to watch over her. I swear just as I thought things would be better, I got the most nastiest headache. She was a spitfire, this one. I am surely getting my hands full.

Jiyong nodded to the rest and stared at me. I had a feeling that i knew what he was going to say.

"Is that her?"

I grumbled a response and he snickered. Dumbass.

"Well aren't you acting like a married couple now." He commented and sauntered off to Seungri, sitting at the empty spot next to the youngest.

"Hyung, you've been gone for ages." The youngest exclaimed, flailing his hands for a dramatic effect.

Jiyong rolled his eyes. "Just because you got to your lover faster than I met the demon, it didn't mean you're faster Seungri. Did you not remember who quivered when he first heard of his task?"

Seungri pouted. "That's unfair! My task was hard too."

"Yeah, sure." Jiyong muttered.

I went back to my chair, my friends were sitting on my either sides, watching me.

"So, demons?" I asked, and Jiyong nodded, his expression turned serious.

"Second rank, Eligor." He answered and the others looked at him like he had grown a horn. Seungri even scanned him to find any sort of bruises.

Jiyong tsked. "We did not fight, if that's what you're thinking, Seungri. And to think that you thought I'm that easy to defeat-" he trailed off, glaring at the youngest who grinned innocently. "Anyway, he came and went to the fifth floor."

"Fifth?" Daesung asked, clearly confused. I understand what he meant. If the demon was after Yuna, he should at least get her floor right.

Jiyong nodded again. "And took a girl from her house."

"He what? But that's preposterous! Demons can't touch an innocent being!"

"Such a big word, Seungri." Jiyong mocked, receiving a glare from Seungri and a chuckle from TOP. "And yes lowly demons can't, not without any authorisation from the higher demons such as Eligor himself. Should've paid more attention to your classes dongsaeng."

You would think demons do things as they liked but no. Even in Hades's realm, hierarchy existed, and everyone were subjected to their supreme being.

"Eligor came himself and took the little girl, why?" I asked and Jiyong shrugged.

"He didn't say anything but I'm pretty sure it has to do with Zachary."

"It isn't weird at all." We turned to the oldest among us and he looked at each of us with a blank expression.

"Even if he was ruling over ten thousand demons, Zachary was still his prince, and you know how faithful he is." TOP mused, tapping his chin. "Also that's not what we're supposed to worry now."

"Right... Didn't the Elders called you in? What was it about?" Jiyong asked and TOP grinned.

"This is exactly what I wanted to tell you about."

After the meeting with my friends and almost blowing the room a few times, it was already nighttime. Instantly, guilt seeped in. I was supposed to be with my mate, telling her about our stories together and try to swoon her with my charms. But that was not what I was doing. Instead, we started off on a wrong foot. If any, she would be furious at me.

I sighed harshly as I walked to the kitchen. My friends had already fled despite my urges for them to stay. Their reasons? They do not want to be caught up in our little arguments, and Seungri even had the audacity to say that he would prefer to have his ears pure from the sounds we may make at nights.

Not like I minded having a little privacy with my mate.

My mind wandered off to our conversation today and i was trying to conjure up words to apologise when I was met with a pristine kitchen, with no sight of my mate.

Mrs. Song, who seemed to notice my existence, turned around and bowed slightly. Her wise eyes shone with amusement at my confused state.

"You're too late, my prince. The Lady has gone to bed."

"Bed? But it's only 9pm!" I said, grimacing as the whiny tone attacked my ears. I cleared my throat and pushed my frustration away. "She literally slept the day away, and you sent her to sleep so early?"

She chuckled and returned to her work, wiping off the newly washed plate, making sure that they were stainless, before stacking them into the cupboard. I felt bad, I ushered the maids away and kept only a few, now she had to do the job herself.

"A Lady needs her beauty sleep, and besides, she looked drained. So I sent her to sleep after dinner."
I sighed. "Well at least she was fed." I turned around, walking out of the kitchen when I heard her calling to me.

"Are you not hungry?"

I looked over my shoulder and shook my head. "I'll have breakfast with her tomorrow."

She laughed and bid me a good night.

Well it will be a good night indeed.

I slipped into the dark room and closed the door. The curtain was swaying gently by the tall window as wind blew in, the moonlight shone through, creating patterns on the carpeted floor
I inhaled, taking her scent deeply and I sighed contently. In the middle of the room was a king sized bed, and although it was pitch black, I could clearly see her tiny form under my sheets. I smiled in delight, it was truly a long time since her scent filled my room, stirring something awake from deep within me.

It felt like home.

I walked toward her and pulled my clothes off, leaving me with only a pair of boxer briefs before slipping into the bed with her. The bed felt unmistakeably big with her on the other side of the bed, so I reached out and gently pulled her closer, her back on my chest. She sighed on the contact, and I knew she felt the pull like I did, her body slowly remembering the pleasurable feeling when our skin touched. Tangling my legs with hers, I buried my head onto her hair, letting her scent engulfed me as I fell asleep to the familiar tingles from our touching skin.
