The door to the vast space of personal library was slightly opened when Yang Hyun Suk and Seungri arrived. He smelt her before he even saw her, her scent mingled with the smell of old books and another familiar scent of pine trees concealed by expensive cologne. His forehead crinkled and Hyun Suk noticed.
"Don't do anything I wouldn't do." He said almost inaudible but it did not escape Seungri's ears as a threat.
The door was pulled open from the inside by a maid and she bowed as she let them walk in before she trotted out and closed the door behind her.
Hyun Suk walked to the man sitting behind his mahogany desk and bowed as Seungri stuck on his ground staring at the girl in front of him.
"Hello, Riri." She smiled, her doe eyes sparkled just the way he remembered them.
Seungri snapped from his stance as she made her way toward him and wrapped her arms around his middle.
"Hello, Sandara." He replied, returning her hug. She then let him go and playfully slapped his chest.
"Stop. We don't call each other by names, remember?" She said softly, looking up at him.
"Right, how can I forget?" He flicked her head and his smile was washed away quickly when they heard a cough.
Both of their heads turned to the expensive leather couches placed in the center of the room, where the King and Hyun Suk comfortably sat. Hyun Suk seemed slightly annoyed whilst the King did not gave any expression at all.
Seungri bowed deeply. "Your Highness."
The King nodded. "Please sit down, Seungri."
Seungri obliged and Sandara followed. They both sat on an empty couch in front of Hyun Suk, the King on the side, sitting on his own chair adorned with beautiful carvings. He rested his hands on the armrest.
"Welcome son, it has been a while since I've seen you."
Seungri bowed his head. "True, Your Majesty."
"I'll take it that your Papa already told you why I want to see you?"
The youngest guy's eyes flickered to his boss who had plastered his poker face on.
"No, Your Majesty. I don't think he did."
The King looked at Hyun Suk and sighed.
"Oh, it's nothing important really, that is probably why Hyun Suk did not tell you. And I think it is better that I relay it to you myself."
Seungri leaned forward. His elbow rested on his thighs as he studied the King's face. It was never not important if he decided to summon them to meet him. He was not the kind of person who you could meet to talk about the weather and regular club fights. If he wanted to meet, he meant business. Like vampire Turning business, or wars between his kind and other living creatures. He will never ask anyone's opinion on the Turning, so it must be war or something else came up. Seungri's bet was on war.
"But first, I wanted to ask you child." The King's expression darkened and Seungri straightened his posture.
"How is my son's little mate doing?"

"I'm sorry, my King. But I don't think that's what Taeyang hyung wants." Seungri shook his head. Sandara looked down to her hands folded on her laps.
