The Stressed Times

Toby's P.O.V.

          I woke up, with an oxygen mask on, in an unconferable bed, hearing beeping sounds. I knew where I was. I was at the hospital. I opened my eyes, to see Claire on her phone. She looked up and saw that I was awake." Well, hello Sleeping Beauty. I didn't think you were gonna wake up. I thought you were dead Toby." She said as she started to cry. She grabbed my hand, squeezing it, so I squeezed it back. She was relived that I was awake. I looked at her for a moment, then shot up. I looked around the room, looking for Aria. Claire saw my heart monitor had gone up darasticaly. She put her hand on my shoulder," Toby calm down, I know you are looking for her. She's behind that curtain, but I don't think you want to see her in the condition she is in." She pointed to the curtain to my left. A nurse came in, suprised that I was up," Oh Mr. Turner, you're up! How are you feeling?" I tried talking, but it was hard with the mask on. She laughed and said," Ok Mr. Turner, you can take the mask off." I took the mask off asking," How is she?" She looked at me, and pointed to the curtain," She isn't in a good condition Mr. Turner. If you want to see her, I will pull the curtain back. Just don't freak out, ok?" I nodded, and the nurse slowly pulled the curtain back. My eyes became wide, I looked at Claire, with tears in my eyes. She got up and hugged me, as she started to bawl.

Aria's P.O.V.

          I couldn't see a thing. I couldn't breathe. Was I dead? I heard people, on and off. I felt someone pick me up, then I was thrown. Was that Toby that picked me up? All I remember hearing is Claire, yelling," HE'S NOT OUT OF THERE YET! TOBY, NO NO NO PLEASE COME OUT!" Next thing I know, I'm uncomfortable, and I have things attached to me. Many, many things attached to me. Where am I? Where is Toby? Is he ok?

Toby's P.O.V.

       Next thing I know, I'm next to Aria, yelling on the top of my lungs," ARIA PLEASE WAKE UP! YOU HAVE TOO, YOU JUST HAVE TOO!" I had bags under my eyes from crying so much, just praying that she would stay alive. Claire and the nurse pry me from her, and put me back on my bed. " Why? Why couldn't it have been me? WHY CLAIRE WHY!" I cried. She leaned over to hug me, her crying for the same reason, wishing it was neither of us. We both sat there motionless, until we heard something. It was Aria.

Aria's P.O.V.

          I fought with my body, trying to wake up, and it worked. I coughed and fluttered my eyes open, wondering where I was. There were so many things attatched to me, helping me breathe. I heard someone walk over by me, it was a nurse. " Hi Ms. Dixon! It's good to see you are up! Some people want to see you." The nurse elevated my bed, then took most of the equpiment off of my face, seeing that I didn't need most of it while I was awake. I saw Toby and Claire, both looking at me with relived faces. Toby ran over to me, hugging me and saying," I'm so sorry." I was confused. Why was he sorry? The one thing he had said that got to me was, "I'm here for you" Listening to that one one thing, I felt a tear run down my cheek, I started to hug him back. Claire looked like she had stayed up for at least sixteen hours. She came over to me, and broke down into tears. She smiled, and said," I worried about both of you." She started to hug me, soon enough, we were all hugging eachother. Then I saw three people run in, crying. It was mother, and Toby's parents. Mother ran over to me, and hugged me tight. I was about to say I was ok, but I couldn't say anything with all of the equpitment on. The nurse looked over, came over to me and took all of it off. I felt weightless with all of it off. " M-Mom, what are you doing here?" She looked at me like I was joking, then saw I was serious," Honey, when I heard what happend, I was worried you weren't gonna make it. I came here because I love and care about you. While I was in the waiting room, I found them." She pointed to Toby's parents, that were hugging Toby. Mother walked over to Toby and said," Toby, you are the bravest person, I have ever seen. You risked your life, for my daughters. Thank you! How will I ever repay you?" Toby looked at her, then at me," Mrs. Dixon, you don't have to repay me, because I have all that I want, and all I want is Aria." Mother smiled, and hugged Toby. His parents came over to me, asking what had happened. I told them that I didn't know, but Claire did. His mother then said," You are a fighter, you know that. You are apart of the Turner family sweetie." His parents then higged me, and I thanked them. The nurse interupted the ceremony, saying," Mr. Turner may go home tomorrow, but Ms. Dixon will have to stay here for a couple weeks so we can make sure that she doesn't have anything wrong with her." We all nodded, understanding what was about to happen for the next couple weeks.
