Unexpected Visitors

Aria's P.O.V.

          When I saw who walked in I said,"Oh crap!" I whisped one word,"Mom?" She scrambled over to me, hugging me and saying it was going to be ok. A tear excaped my eye. Toby's parents walked over to me. "Oh my god!" his mom exclaimed. I smiled,"Guys, I'm ok. It was nothing serious." She smiled and sat down in one of the chairs. At that time, Toby walked in. His father got up immediately. "Hey hey hey, I don't wanna start anything else. Can I just speak to Aria alone?" he questioned. They all looked at me, waiting for an answer. I looked at Toby with anger and asked,"What do you want, Turner?" Everyone gasped, eyes widened. They left the room with the same reaction. Toby looked at me, worried. "Well?" I asked. He just looked at me, no words came from his mouth. "Why did you do what you did?" I asked. Tears formed in his eyes. "I-I don't know" he quivered. I got angrier and replied,"I don't know? I don't know is your answer, Toby? Look what you have done to me! I'm all bruised up and everyone and their brother is worried about me and you. They are mostly conserned about you than me because they are scared." Toby just starred at the floor. At this point I was yelling to where everyone started looking in the window. Then, I did the most terrible thing I could think of. I slowly raised my hands and reached for my wedding finger. Everyone in the hall saw what I was about to do and starting nodding their head "no". That's when I did it. I reached for my engagement ring slowly and took it off, letting go of it and hearing it drop to the floor. Toby shot his head up, no knowing what I had done. He looked where the ring was and gasped. He looked back at me, tears in his eyes, and stormed out the door. Everyone came in, also with tears in their eyes. I just lay there thinking. That's all I could do.
