Aria's P.O.V.
I woke up the next morning, sore and grumpy. I looked at Toby to see he was still asleep, his eyes red and puffy. I got up to let Gryphon do his "business" outside, change into a new outfit, and to make pancakes. I walked into the kitchen and opened the fridge. No ingedients. "Dangit, guess I have to go shopping." I told myself. I went back into the living room to see Toby awake, looking for something to watch on T.V.. "Well I see you are awake." I playfully said, putting my phone in my pocket. He smiled and replied, "Yea, sorry for last night." I walked over to the couch and hugged him and replied,"Don't be, it wasn't your fault." I added in, remembering the groceries,"I'm going to go to the store, so I can make breakfast." His smiling face turned into a worried and concerned look. He quietly said,"No." I pulled away from the hug and replied,"Huh?" He raised his voice,"I said no." I got up off of the couch and grabbed the keys,"Toby, I'm going to the store to get groceries, it won't be long." He got up from the couch as well and grabbed my arm and raised his voice even higher,"No Aria, you are not going to the store." At this point, veins were popping out of his neck and his face was as red as a tomato. I backed away towards a wall close by, frightened of him. He lost grip on my arm and I ran off out the front door with the keys still in my hand. He ran after me, yelling my name. I ran as fast as I could into the street, to the other side of the road. I remembered I had my phone with me, so I pulled it out of my pocket, still running quickly. I dialed Claire's number, thinking of what to say. "Claire?" I spoke, out of breath but still running. "Aria, what's wrong?" She worried. I looked at the street sign I was about to run past and replied, still running,"I'm on S Main Street, Toby is chasing me. I need your He-" I felt someone grasp onto my arm and pull me towards them, making me drop my phone. Toby's face was more red than before and his grasp on my arm was tighter, hurting me. He slammed me aginst a building wall, making my head bleed. I tear escaped my eye, landing to the concrete ground. He said one word, and one word only,"No."
