Hey everyone! Hope you like this chapter! Also, I'll be writing a new fanfic soon! It's going to be about Nico Di Angelo and it's called, "No Stars." You can read the description if you go on my profile!:) Don't forget to vote and comment! Love Ya'll!

"More hairspray!"

"No I think that's enou-"I begin to cough as hairspray swarms all around me, going inside my mouth. I gag. "Annabeth!"

Annabeth laughs. "Sorry, should've gave you a warning."

"You think?" I shake my head and let my friends continue to get me ready for my "date" tonight. I'm in the Aphrodite cabin, my back facing the mirrors since they want it to be a surprise. I hope I don't look like crap.

While Annabeth curls my hair, Piper paints my nails. After a long debate on what color nail polish we should use, I gave up and had let her choose.

"I like silver." I had said.

Piper had shook her head. "I think you should go with red."

"I like silver." I had repeated.

"No, you're going to go with red."

"What's it with you and red?" I asked.

"You know, just in case Leo accidently burst into flames, you guys can match."

We had a stare down. She won.

Now Piper is happily painting my nails, a bright red color. I guess it's kind of hard to argue with a daughter of Aphrodite. I mean, they are experts on love and style, right?

Celia, the daughter of Apollo whom I still do not trust, digs through the Aphrodite closet with the help of Hazel. Hazel. That girl is out of it. She stands motionless as Celia dumps more and more clothes onto her arms. Her golden eyes are fixed on the wall as if she is dreaming with her eyes open.

Annabeth notices this and stops doing my hair."Hazel… How are you feeling?"

"Like I've died all over again." She says flatly.

Celia puts her hand on Hazel's shoulder. "It's okay. We don't need boys to live."

Hazel shakes her head and drops all the clothes she had in her arms on the floor. Her arms fly in the air in frustration. "I just don't understand! His firewood was in my pocket the entire time. I don't know how it could've ended up in the fire unless it fell out or somebody took it from me." Tears begin to form in her eyes again.

I shift in my seat. Luckily nobody notices me. After much thinking, I don't regret what I did. It had to be done.

"He'll come around," Piper assures her. "His going to realize soon that it wasn't your fault."

"But it was my fault! He almost died because I was a fool and let it fall out of my pocket!"

"Hazel, please calm down." Celia says.

"I'm sorry, I can't." Hazel turns towards me and gives me a weak smile. "I wish you the best tonight. I'm going to go, I need to go stock up on tissues. If anybody needs me, I'll be in the Hades cabin crying my eyes out."

The door shuts behind her.

"Poor girl." Celia whispers. We don't talk for several minutes.

"Whoa… Chase. You look incredible."

I'd have to agree with that statement. I've never really been the one to dress up, but tonight I was actually wearing makeup other than just plan concealer. I had on a beautiful white dress with lace designing's, decorating the simple dress in a flowery pattern.
