Jimin's P.O.V

It's been two weeks since the day I arrived here in Busan.  The company generously gave us three weeks to relax and be with our own families before we start training for our comeback.  It's great though,  we badly need a break to recharge our bodies and soul for another goal that we're trying to achieve.

So far,  Busan is way different than the last time I saw it.  It almost looks like Seoul if it wasn't for the calm feeling that I get from this place. Before I even got in to Big Hit,  I remember having a window in my room so I could look out at the small houses from afar.  It's the first thing that I checked when I got home that night.  Luckily,  mom and dad kept it clean—as if I was still living there with them—because they know that it's probably the next thing I miss the most.

Of course,  that exempts the kimchi jjigae that mom made every single day since I arrived here.  My dad and younger brother kept complaining because I always eat the same thing but they can't do anything about it,  mom's got them in control.

Mom's kimchi stew is my absolute favorite.  Nothing could ever beat the taste of it no matter what famous restaurant cooks it for me. It's just never the same. That's why as long as I'm here,  I wanna drown in it.  I don't care if my tongue is numb from the taste.  I wanna make sure that my body remembers it.

My stomach growled at the thought of it and I smile at its response.  I definitely have to eat that for dinner when I come back.  Right now,  I need to get ready to go Big Hit.  It's strange how they called us four days before the end of our vacation because this has never happened before.  Usually,  we'll be off limits during our break so we could spend time with our families quietly, but with our manager calling me at 8:00 in the morning,  it must be some serious business.

"Eomma~ I got to go." I shout from my room as I place my phone inside and head out to the living room.

In less than a minute,  my mom is at her feet,  ready to see me out.  The company sent a car to my house to assist me—from the words of my manager— it's for the "safety of my journey". Those words alone make my heart pound and the worst is that I keep getting a feeling that it's something bad. But how can that be? How could anything go wrong after a successful tour and a silent break?

I talked to manager hyung on the phone this morning and he only told me that "It's okay,  everything's under control". But the fact the we are being summoned to the company tells me that nothing's ever finished.

My mom kissed me goodbye and I hug her tightly—promising that I'll come back for dinner.  She nodded and stayed at the door as she watches me get in the car.  I greeted the driver and told him that it's okay to go now so he started to pull off to the driveway.

"Eomma~ get inside!  It's cold.  I'll come back later." I waved at my mom through the open window.  She just blew me a kiss and head inside.

I sit quietly in the car and put on my headphones as I enjoy the scenery. I select songs from my phone when I got a message from Jungkook.

It says, "Hyung? Are you on your way?"

I immediately sent a reply and told him,  "Yes. Wait for me. What's happening?"

"Just come quickly. We're all here." He said in a few beat.

With one last reply,  I tucked my phone inside my bag. The traffic wasn't that bad so I guess it will take about 3 hours until we get there so I decided to have some shut eye to ease my mind.

I didn't realize that we're already parked in the company when the driver kept on calling my name. "Joesonghamnida" I apologized for the bother. He brushed it off and patted my shoulder as he helped me out of the van.
