Poseidon's Point of view
I headed toward Percy's Palace, there was something I needed to discuss with him. He had recently decided to have an undersea palace built. I was here to find out what he and Amber had in mind for it. I knocked on his palace door and waited for a moment, when I got no response I couldn't help but wonder what Percy was doing. I was pretty sure he was here so what was he doing? The door was unlocked so I decided to just go in and see what they were doing. When I went inside I sensed that Percy and Amber were upstairs and I heard a fairly loud thud I quickly guessed what they were doing, although if I was right they were being fairly quiet about it. I decided I would let them be and wait until they come down. I stepped back outside and waited until I saw them coming down the stairs. When they did you would never guess what they had most likely been doing by looking at them but I was pretty sure I had guessed right. "Enjoying yourselves were you?" I said in a mostly teasing tone.
Amber blushed while Percy just looked like he wasn't sure how to respond. finally he said, "Uh dad, not that your not welcome here or anything, but why are you here?"
more amused than anything I said, I came to discuss your undersea palace, but apparently you were busy. You really shouldn't leave your front door unlocked, someone could walk in on you,"
Mostly past the awkwardness Percy replied, "I thought it was locked,"
"So did I," Amber replied, finally able to bring herself to speak.
"Well it wasn't," I replied.
"Anyway, the palace," Percy said, obviously wanting to change the subject.
"Yes," I replied, letting the subject change. After that Amber seemed slightly relieved, as did Percy. I had been more amused than anything, and used it as an opportunity to tease Percy. I'm glad that Percy chose immortality, it would have been incredibly hard for me to lose him, after all he is my favourite son especially now after Triton betrayed us. I was also happy that Percy had been able to move on and found someone else after the daughter of Athena hurt him.
I could see that he was very happy with Amber and I wouldn't be too surprised if they have more children in the future. Percy wasn't wrong when he let slip that he seemed to have a thing for smart blondes, Amber reminded me of Athena only kinder and without the pride or arrogance. Amber was obviously kind, modest, and loyal. She also seemed to doubt herself a lot, although I knew Percy was usually trying to convince her not too doubt herself so much.
I could tell that she loved Percy a lot, especially since she obviously hadn't just moved on after he'd been forced to leave her. She was good for him during the years they were apart I could see that Percy was never quite himself, but now that they were reunited I don't know if they could be happier and I was just glad that Percy was happy since it meant that he wasn't upset like he had been. I was sure Amber wouldn't betray him like the Athena spawn had, she seemed to care for him too much to hurt him like that and I could tell that Percy cares for her just as much.
I suspected that Luke would be the only demigod child Percy would ever have since his loyalty wouldn't allow him to cheat on Amber. Percy was unlike most of us Olympians due to his loyalty modesty and other traits that most of us lack it was also because of the fact that since he used to be one he understands how difficult demigod's lives are and he didn't want to bring a child into this world only for it to have to go through the traumatic life of a demigod. He had Luke but he had been unplanned and I could tell that what Luke had to go through bothered Percy quite a bit so he tried to help Luke cope with his difficult experiences.
