Misty was only temporary staying with the Dawn's Edge Wolf Pack. After turning 18 and not finding her true mate, she decided she wasn't staying around like others.
She had done all she could to find her true mate. She remained and even attended parties which she never stayed long at. There was heavy drinking and horny males hitting on every female and she wasn't part of that scene.
So she hit the road to do some travelling, eventually stopped at the Dawn's Edge to get a temporary job to earn some more funds as she intended to do more travelling.
She made ready for the evening meet and greet as the pack had another pack's next leaders with a few of their Warriors staying for a few days.
Once she heard who they were, she huffed over and really wanted to go back to her room and take a long bath instead of meeting them. Yes, she met the next in line for the titles before, back home. When she graduated and went to a party, both Myles the next Beta and Dornian, the next Alpha were among other males drunk and horny.
She left the party soon after Dornian turned his intense light brown eyes on another. She was replaced by pack females who were not saving themselves for their true mates.
Once Dornian was touched by another female, Misty took the sign of his interest in the another she-wolf and left.

She helped herself to another sandwich before moving outside. She stood in the back, leaned against a tree and ate while everyone gathered in time for the meeting to start. Next Head Warrior Rex moved through the trees and soon leaned against the same tree.
He said you're here Misty. She grunted and said yes, I was so ordered to appeared by Luna May. I rather be up in my room taking a bath to tell you the truth. He chuckled and said all the unmated males to meet and you rather be in your room. One could be your true mate Misty.
Misty sighed and said I've met them before Rex, so I know differently. They came to my home pack just as we graduated and I met them at the grad party. I'm kind of shocked they hadn't found their true mates yet because they were seriously travelling.
Rex asked when was that Misty? She finished her sandwich and said two years ago. He grunted and said they aren't staying with our pack for long and are heading south as there was sightings of rogues.
Misty said really, rogues? Rex said yes, it seems some from South America have been sighted headed our way. She looked to the stage and asked if the rogues were killers or just ousted from their pack?
Rex whispered moving closer and said they are all killers. Misty whispered back and said I know they are all dangerous but they start out being ousted from their packs. If they were just ousted then they aren't as dangerous as the killer rogues. Never underestimate them though because they could turn on a dime and never, ever, believe the rogue bitches as they are just as blood thirsty.
Rex huffed and asked how do you know? She looked down before saying the original pack my parents were in had ousted a few dangerous females. My parents told me the females were ousted for bullying but it escalated into some pack females getting hurt. They were ousted and named rogue, then fled only after tracking down a pack female and nearly killed her in anger.
Rex asked who? Misty said she was the Alpha's niece, who thought with all the training she had, no one could hurt her. She was wrong as she met up with her assumed friends that were just ousted and they took out their anger out on her.
He whispered how do you know that? Misty whispered because the Alpha's niece was my dad's sister. So believe me, I know. Don't underestimate the female rogues as they are more dangerous, devious and spiteful bitches the longer they are rogue.
