Cori groaned as she watched her true mate Malakai. He was a pack Warrior, one that was caught repeatedly glaring back at her when catching her watching him.
She caught sight of Annie next, then turned away, walked away totally out of sight. Annie smirked at her and had purposely moved in on Malachai so Cori saw.
Others watched the two in disgust as Malakai took Annie off to literally screw her. Later they heard Annie got pregnant. She was telling everyone it was 100% Malakai's
Cori disappeared from the pack before the pregnancy was learned it wasn't Malakai's baby. But the deed was done as Alpha Scott had Malachai mark Annie as his because he actually believed Annie's deceitful lying words.

It was nearly 10 years later, Cori collected her bags before going through customs. She breezed through not being selected to be searched. She walked out the doors and nearly froze sensing others of her kind.
She moved and let others go past her. Soon the others all departed with ones they collected. She watched them until they were totally out of sight.
She knew the ones she sensed were Council Warriors, and the ones they picked up were on a different plane that landed at the same time as her plane.
She exited the building and flagged down a taxi. She had him take her to a hotel, one with room service. She yawned after paying his fees, then grabbed her bags and headed inside.
She checked into a single room and took her own bags to her room. There she ordered room service for two and grabbed a change of clothes.
She quickly showered and dried, then dressed and pulled in her food cart. Locking her door again quickly after hearing doors open and voices in the hall.
She ate her food and quickly shoved the empty cart from the room and locked up again. She laid down on the bed and let her wolf protect them as she slept.
Her wolf kept her deep asleep until the next morning as she needed it badly. Once Cori woke, she groaned as she was starved again seeing it was morning. She quickly ordered breakfast for two, then showered and dressed.
Once she finished eating, she packed her bags. Then cleared the room of all her scent and essence, blocked and shielded it all up before grabbing her bags.
She checked out and quickly left. She used the hotel's transportation back to the airport. She took another plane and once landing picked up her new vehicle.
She loaded it up with her bags and soon got on the road. She travelled the few remaining hours to the destination of the American Council Headquarters.
She parked and looked around before getting out. She locked her vehicle as she walked away and headed to the front door. She took a deep breath to calm herself before going inside.
The first thing she did was put on her dark glasses once the Warriors were caught checking her out. They stiffened and grunted.
She walked past them scenting the building for any dangers. She headed to the stairs and not the elevator. She soon slipped into the infirmary and was seen right away.
The Doctor came to her and she said hello, I just arrived back in the country and need to have my injections please. I was informed I must come here first before anything else.
He took her arm and said that's correct, this your first time here? She said first time here in your building, then yes. He settled her in a chair and asked when was the last time you were examined? She took off her glasses and said by a Doctor, it was a week ago. I was given all my injections for 6 months.
