Your love for your Maker
When you love something you strives very hard to make that thing or person your number one priority, He became your everything and you can do everything to make him or her happy.
Likewise your love for Allah, the first thing to been a better Muslim is to increase your love for Almighty Allah, the more you love Allah the more you put effort to please him.
Dear sister, there is so many things you can do to get closer to your lord. Pray on time, let Allah comes first in your everything, Increase your supregatory prayers, Believe in Qadr Allah and supplicate more. This will bring you closer to your lord and increase your love for him, and Allah will love you more.
The last but not the least Make this du'a part of you.
Allahumma inne as'aluka hubbaka
Wa hubba man yuhibbuka wal'amal al-ladhi yuballighuni hubbaka. Allahuma aj'al hubbaka ahabba ilayya min-nafsi wa ah-li wa minal-maa 'il baridd.
Oh Allah! I ask you for your love and love of those who love you and deeds which cause me to attain your love. Oh Allah! make your love dearer to me than myself my family and cold water.
