A FEW MONTHS LATER

"Scotty?"

"Yes honey?"

Scott's gaze at the wonderful Northern Light moved to his boyfriend's beautiful face in the green light as the latter sat down next to him on the rocks.

It was completely silent, a part from the quiet buzz in the background from their friends who sat a little further away.

Mitch did not continue talking. He was just taking a moment to purely enjoy life at this point. And so was Scott. Mitch recognized the look in his face when he had such kind of a life reflecting moment.

"How do you feel?" he said eventually.

It was not a superficial question, Scott knew that. The most satisfied, genuinely happy smile appeared on his lips. "This moment is just perfect. My heart is so full. I couldn't wish for anything more. You look stunning as always, Mitchy. I love you."

Mitch stared into a pair of huge, pretty, blue heart eyes, the way only his Hoying could look at him.

Mitch grabbed his face softly, and whispered "I love you too" at his lips, right before kissing them.

"Do you feel as great as I do, Mitchy?"

"I bet I do."

"Perfect," Scott replied with a smile.

"You know, baby, I've been thinking about us," Mitch grabbed his hand.

"What do you mean?" Scott was curious.

"We've been together for almost half a year now, right?"

"Yes. Almost."

"And everyone who has to know about us, does, right?"

"Yes, they do."

"I am happy like this, Scott."

"Me too. What do you want to say?" Scott didn't understand where Mitch was going yet.

"I don't want to tell our fans that we're a couple, but I also don't want to hide anymore. You know what I mean? Does that make sense to you?"

Scott thought about what Mitch just said. He nodded. "Yes, of course, it does."

"It's just... I don't want to make a thing out of it, like 'big news, we are dating!', dedicating a video to it on Superfruit... but I don't want to lie either. Can't we just... not be too careful anymore to show anything? I would feel so much more free. But on the other hand, we never have to actually talk about it, if we don't want to. And if they find out, well, then they find out. But it will forever be uncertain if we don't explicitly admit it."

"Yes, I see, Mitchy. Our fans will probably think we are randomly teasing them anyway, if they see something suspicious, right?"

"They will for sure. I can already see the comments rising 'scömìche is real!' 'our ship has sailed', but also 'no, they're just friends, they're just joking!'," Mitch imitated the fans with different voices.

"We're confusing them so bad."

"Doesn't matter. It keeps them interested, a little mystery."

"That's true. They love us anyway."

"They do," Mitch smiled.

"Mitch, I want to kiss you on camera. I've never kissed anyone on camera."

"Why? Is that important for you?"

"No, not really. I just really like the idea of it. I can't really explain why. Is that weird?"

"No, I don't think so. It's okay, but we can't just randomly kiss. That would be way to obvious."

"Oh no, I know, I mean, we can embed it in a fun little sketch or something. Excuse: we're just acting."

"Okay."

"Okay?" Scott was surprised.

"Yea." Mitch didn't mind. If Scott wanted this, they could do it. No big deal.

"Cool."

Mitch smiled at Scott. He was glad to make him happy.

"God I love you." Scott kissed his boyfriend again. Firework exploded above their heads. Actual firework.

Mitch looked up and back at Scott. "Happy New Year baby. Wish you the best of all."

"As long as I got you. Happy New Year to you too. Wish you everything you need sweetheart."

"Thanks, babe. And I love you too. So much."

After a little moment, Mitch said: "We should get back to our friends now."

"We should," Scott agreed.

"I need some alcohol."

"Yes, let's take some shots."
