"So, you're a fake dragon slayer."

"And you're a nature freak."

"Touchè."

Laxus and I walked around after training. I had been training him for about a month, to not be as cocky and to be stronger than he already is. Laxus had also gotten me to not smoke every five minutes, as it was bad for my health. It does feel good to not be high all the time. I finally see things that I couldn't before, like how good my life is, not including my past.

"Where's Patrick? Wasn't he here a second ago?" Laxus asked. I shrugged. "He's smart, he'll find his way back to us," I said. As if on cue, Patrick flew up to me, holding my crystal ball. He looked worried. "What's up, Pat?" I asked. "You're friends are in trouble. They're on Tenrou island," he said. "What?" Laxus asked. I took the crystal ball and used my magic to get it going and then channeled it to Tenrou Island.

It showed the pink haired boy- Natsu, I think his name was- fighting an older man with reddish brown hair and a tattered cloak. Laxus laughed, making me give him a confused look. "That's just Gildarts. This is what they do for the S-class trials," he explained. "Oh. Do you think we could go see them? I'd like to see these guys fight up close," I said. "I don't see why not," Laxus said, shrugging.

I grabbed Patrick and held him to my chest. "How are we gonna get there, though?" I asked. Laxus smirked and grabbed me, pulling me close to him. "Like this," he said. "Wha-"

We turned into lightning and we sped through the air, causing me to squeak in fear. Laxus laughed and I blushed. "Did it scare you?" He asked. "I don't know what you're talking about," I muttered. He said something under his breath and I raised an eyebrow. "What was that?" I asked. He blushed. "It was nothing."

Suddenly, we crashed into the ground. The lightning around us disappeared as we laid on the ground. I groaned and sat up, rubbing my head. "What the hell was that?" I asked. Laxus sat up. "Sorry. I got distracted," he said, looking flustered. I have never seen him like this, so it was confusing.

"What's that?" Patrick asked, pointing to something in the air. I looked up and saw a huge airship that was slowly lowering itself to the ground. "Holy shit.." I muttered. Laxus looked angry. "They're not supposed to be here! This is for Fairy Tail members only," he yelled, lightning crackling around him. I put my hand on his arm lightly, trying not to get burnt. "Calm down. Let's go check it out before we jump to conclusions," I said. I would tease him, but now doesn't seem like a good time to be doing that.

He took a deep breath and the lightning around him disappeared. "You're right, let's go." He grabbed my hand and dragged me over to the ship. "It's still too high, how are we supposed to get up there?" He asked. "I can help with that," I said. I put my hand on the ground and thick vines appeared, lifting Laxus, Patrick and I off the ground.

It pierced through a window and we stepped in, watching what was happening. Natsu seemed to be having trouble fighting someone. "Is he fighting Gildarts?" I whispered to Laxus. "That's not Gildarts," he said. Before I could think of a plan, Laxus jumped down to the main level with a cocky attitude. My eyes widened. "Idiot!" I hissed, watching from above.

I watched as Laxus let the flame brained pinkette eat his lightning, before collapsing to the ground. I waited until the enemy was taken out before jumping down to ground level. "Sparky!" I yelled, catching the attention of Laxus and the pinkette, Natsu, I think Laxus said his name was. I knelt down next to Laxus and felt his forehead. He was cold, but hot at the same time. "Hey! I remember you!" Natsu yelled. I looked up, but didn't say anything. I turned back to Laxus. "Are you okay?" I asked. Patrick snickered silently, but I ignored him. Laxus shoved my hands off of him and sat up. "I'm fine," he grunted. He tried to stand, but stumbled on his feet. I caught him before he could fall to the ground and slung his arm over my shoulder. "You're not fine. Just let me help," I muttered, my face turning red.

Natsu lead us out of the battle zone.

I sat next to a bandaged Laxus, Patrick sitting on my shoulder. "You have to be more careful, Laxus. If you keep on being too cocky, you're going to get yourself killed," I scolded. He rolled his eyes. "Just shut up, Nature Freak," he muttered. "Why should I, Bolt Boy?" I pushed. He glanced at me and then grunted. "You actually have to take my advice. I am your trainer," I teased. He ignored me.

His friends then came up to him and I smiled slightly, getting up. Once I was a decent distance away, I pulled my hood down and let the wind fly through my hair.

I sat down, Patrick sitting on my lap. "You and Laxus act like a couple," Patrick said tiredly. I rolled my eyes. "We do not," I argued. He chuckled. "Whatever you say, Miss Nature."

I looked up at the sky, listening to Patrick's rhythmic snores. "Something bad is going to happen, I just know it," I muttered to myself.

Suddenly, a roar echoed through the atmosphere. I stood up and ran towards where everybody was. The master of Fairy Tail invited Laxus into their circle, and smiled at me. "You too," he said.

I hesitantly grabbed Laxus and Bickslow's hands, glancing up at Laxus, who was smiling down at me. I nervously smiled up at him.

Two dragons landed on the island, and before everything went black, I noticed something.

"Rose?"
