The games went on and it was finally my turn to participate.
"Up next is Y/n L/n from Fairy Tail versus Jura Neekis from Lamia Scale!"
Laxus looked shocked while I was excited. "You're going against a wizard saint?!" He exclaimed. I shrugged and smiled. "Its what people wanted. I'll be fine, Bolt Boy," I said, pecking his lips. "Gross. Just get out there and fight," Gajeel said. I rolled my eyes before walking out of our section. "Let's go, Nature Freak!" I heard Laxus yell.
"I'll try my best!" I responded. I approached Jura and saw him smiling slightly. "You seem like a nice girl, but we must put that aside us. I am now your enemy," he said. I smiled. "Same to you. Good luck," I smiled. Vines wrapped around my wrists as I waited for the round to start.
"3, 2, 1, Fight!"
I flicked my wrist and vines shot out, wrapping themselves around Jura's feet. The attack caught him off guard, sending him to the ground. "Nature Dragon Roar!" I yelled, sending a blast of green toward him.
"She's a Dragon slayer?!" Someone from Sabertooth yelled.
After the smoke from my attack cleared, I was that Jura was not there anymore and my vines were ripped. "Y/n! Behind you!" I heard Patrick yell. I turned around and saw an attack coming my way. I didn't have time to react, so it hit me full on. I fell to the ground and felt blood run down my face.
"And Y/n's down, but is she down for the count?"
"Come on, Y/n! You can do this!" Jackson yelled. I pushed myself up and grinned. "I'm not giving up yet! Is that all you got?" I taunted. Jura smiled.
After sending one attack after another, I decided it was time to step it up a notch. I closed my eyes and focused my magic energy.
"What's happening?"
"She's turning green!"
"What the-"
The crowd was cut off by a bright green light. I opened my eyes started to glow. Horns grew on my head, my hair turned green and my normal clothes were replaced by some type of armor, that only covered my private parts.
"Dragon Slayer Secret Art: Elemental Crush!"
All of the main elements rushed in full speed towards Jura. Gasps erupted from the crowd and Jura remained standing, a rock wall in front of him.
"Impossible! No one has been able to survive through that attack!" Patrick exclaimed from the stands.
My eyes widened in horror as I realized he blocked the attack. My vision for blurry and I started to sway lightly. "I-impossible..." I whispered to myself. He sent an attack my way and I rolled away from it.
"You might as well give up now. You won't stand for much longer anyways," he said. I stood up warily and smiled. "There's one thing you should know about me. I always give it my all, even if I am almost out of magical power," I said, wiping blood off of my mouth. "Let's go, Hippie!" Gajeel yelled. I glared at him. "I'm not a hippie, you ass!" I yelled.
I turned back to the fight and swung a punch at Jura unexpectedly. I'm not very good at hand to hand combat, so I'll just have to try my best. I then remembered that I also have Crystal make magic to use.
I backed away and put my hand to the ground. "Crystal-make, hammer," I chanted, raising my hand off the ground. A giant hammer formed and I held it steadily.
"Woah! This is unexpected! Y/n's using Crystal-make magic as a last resort!"
I swung the hammer down, but Jura blocked it and sent an attack right after, catching me on guard. I was sent to the ground and I dodnt feel the strength to get up, so I laid there, motionless.
"Y/n is down! Jura wins, earning Lamia Scale 10 points!"
I looked up and saw Jura holding his hand out to me. I grinned and grabbed his hand, turning back to normal. He pulled me up. "Nice battle. You were a nice challenge," he complemented. "Thanks, you too. It was nice to have someone beat me for once," I said. He smiled and patted my back lightly. I limped back to my section. "Sorry I didn't win, guys," I said, smiling. "Are you kidding? That was great!" Mira exclaimed, her eyes shining. "Yeah, I don't think anyone has been that much of a challenge for Jura," Cana said.
"I could've beaten him," Gajeel said cockily. I raised an eyebrow. "Is that so? Well, how about when the games are over, we have a one-on-one battle," I offered. Gajeel grinned. "You're on."
"That's it for today's games! Come back tomorrow for more!"
Laxus helped me walk out of the field. He carried me on his back as he walked through the crowd of people. I rested my chin on his shoulder and watched as people stared. "Do you want to go to the bar or back to the hotel?" Laxus asked. "Hmm, the hotel. I'm tired and I can barely walk. I'd hate to see what I'd look like if I got drunk," I joked. He chuckled. "That'd be amusing," he said.
I kissed his cheek and jumped off his back. Patrick flew toward me and almost tackled me to the ground if it wasn't for Laxus holding me up. "Hey y/n!" I heard Levy yell. I looked up and waved, smiling in her direction. "Hey Levy!"
Behind Levy were Jet and Droy, Droy stuffing his face as always. "You did good today! I'm excited to see what else you can do," Levy said. "Thanks! I-"
Before I could say anything else, Laxus cut in. "I don't think you'll be participating anymore," he said bluntly. I gave him a confused look. "What?! Why not?" I asked. "You got beat pretty badly. I don't think you can handle fighting anymore," he said, genuinely looking worried. I rolled my eyes. "I can heal myself while I sleep. I'll be back to normal in the morning," I explained. "Fine. But if this happens again, you will be out of the games."
"Fine, dad."
