Keeping Time

Chapter 16

Adam, Kadmon, Maoko, Showa, Myst, and Lux awoke to find themselves standing in front of a huge door. They walked in. Inside was a gigantic city with skyscrapers, floating gardens and people traveling in many directions, upside-down and sideways.

Two tall men led Maoko, Lux, Kadmon, Adam, Showa, and Myst up the main elevator to the top of the spaceship city. They entered into a huge conference room where The Time Queen, a guy and two sisters, and the young Space Queen stood. The Space Queen was beautiful, tall, regal and had bright ebony skin.

"I am the Space Queen of the Republic of Zaffaria of Universe 7. It was the Space Queen of Universe 6 who gave Maoko powers, and who was later killed in an invasion. Me and the Time Queen recently met" said the young woman. "I also enlisted the help here of my friends Nicole, Godfrey and their companions."

Justina stood.

"The universe has been greatly thrown out of balance due to my sister's eagerness to end it all," she said. "That is why we've employed the help of the Zaffarians. they were very angry to find that their future home was destroyed. We've employed all warrior spaceships with 300 men. They are prepared to die, to fight with the strength that is needed to terminate Manevola's army of vampires once and for all. It's up to you all to disperse these bracelets to as many as you can so that people will protect them in transferring them to Universe 7's earth. Provided that you also hand them out to areas occupied by Axis powers, we should be able to save enough people so that Manevola cannot destroy everything."

"They want to help," said the Space Queen, motioning to Nicole, Taylor, Godfrey, Mr. Liu, Mrs. Liu, Avery, Nicholas, Alexis, and Diana."

"It would be an honor to help you," said Mrs. Liu. She wiped a tear that fell from Maoko's eyes.

Kadmon looked at Maoko but she looked away. His heart kept with a desire to hold and protect her so that she would be anywhere but this place.

"My sister and I helped make the bracelets with the Space Queen," said Nicole.

"Then perhaps you can teach me some things I do not know. I love to invent" said Lux.

Nicole smiled.

Taylor grabbed the Time Queen's shoulder and turned her away for a moment.

"I am to believe your majesty, that by helping these individuals that we will save the world from the aliens? There are people I love down there that I would like to know are safe."

"All in good time," said Justina. "When we want to attack the aliens, we want to be prepared."

"I suppose that makes sense."

The tall warrior women of the Space Queen Sil, Alma and Poole also decided to come.

They all left to go back to World War 2.
