abandon warehouse

Aisling and Emma walked along the path Emma said she saw the van went.

Emma was a genius, she parked at the entrance of the small path. But still, the car was hidden in the bushes. Aisling, again, felt so thankful to have Emma with her. Without her, Aisling would probably messed up big time.

But now that they were together, she felt safer than ever.

They walked the long small road, making small noises as possible to avoid unwanted attention.

Soon, they saw a big, ready to crumple, abandon warehouse.

Aisling started to feel horrified. They share a disgrace look at each other.

The girls walked closer to the warehouse, carefully not to step on twigs or anything that squeaked like in the movies or books.

They managed to get closer to the only source of light in the warehouse. The place was quite massive and it took quite of time exploring it.

The girls searched for a hole to peek. Emma found one and ushered Aisling to come closer.

They tried so hard not to vomit at the sight of what laid inside.

There were blood everywhere coating the abandoned warehouse. The floor was painted with dried bloods and new ones. The smeared-blood floor made the big space looked darker in color.

Aisling regretted scanning the whole room as she saw pieces of meat piled at the corner. That was where the rotten smell came from!

The rotten meats gave a bad odour making them almost pouring their guts out.

Emma breathed through her mouth. Aisling did after.

"I hope that's not human's flesh." Emma said after awhile. Aisling hated her for her thinking-out-loud habit.

They walked around. Aisling's gaze fell on a heart-wrenching sight.

She tried not to break down when she saw Dominik, in a rusty clothes. He was bathed in blood. She may barely knew him, but she can't bare to watch people got tortured like that.

His left cheek was cut badly, his eyes were black and blue. His lips were swollen, drawing more blood. It was a bloody mess.

Emma shook her head, wondering who the devil that did this.

Then, they heard the van's engine came to life. Soon, the sound faded. They went away.

Aisling without furtherado searched for a door or something to get inside.

Aisling found some broken pieces of wood walls. She motioned Em to help her kick the woods.

In symphony, they kicked.

The sound made Dominik stirred and finally woke up.
