Chapter 13

Lauren's POV

Camz looks at me.

"What?" I question.

"Nothing I'm just admiring your beauty." Camz says.

"It's nothing compared to yours daughter of Athena." I say causing her to blush.

"Considering you've told me a story I want to tell you one about me and a scar." I say.

"And where would this scar be?" I question.

This causes camz to turn and expose her lower back showing a long horizontal scar. I lightly trace my index finger over it causing camz to shudder.

"How did this happen?" I question.

"It was the night Austin found me. I was being attacked by sons of Ares and it got to the point where one put a knife to my back if I didn't comply. And I didn't know what they meant by complying until one ripped my skirt I was wearing off. That's when I realised what they wanted. I screamed trying to get anyone's attention causing the knife to slice over my back. That's when Austin found me as well as Dinah. They saved me from your brothers. From then Austin and I got to talking and that's how we ended up together." Camz says and I begin to slide in closer towards her.

"So Austin used to be a good guy?" I question and Camz nods slipping into my grasp.

"And my brothers?" I ask gulping at the news I've just heard.

"I never want to see them again, I that's why I was sceptical when we first met, I didn't want the same thing to happen again." She says into my shoulder.

"I'm so so sorry Camzi, I promise I'm here to protect you from now and forever." I say which causes her to kiss my cheek.

"We better get to sleep, as you know we have a quest and all." She says wrapping her body around me for warmth.

"Night Camzi." I say embracing her warmth.

"Night Laur."

I wake up with a rush of warmth throughout my body which is unusual. I look at my surroundings and remember last night. I then look to the brunette woman sleeping next to me with her arm around my legs. I lightly chuckle and I hear the door slowly creaking open. Demi is on the other side.

"I see you two got close last night." She says referring to Camzi.

"Uh kinda, have you got a plan on how we are going to start this?" I question.

"Uh yes, Aph and I have been up all night." She says and Camz begins to stir. "You two are really cute." 

"We aren't together if that's what you're thinking." I say and she nods smirking. "Demi!" I yell which cause Camz to whine and open her eyes grumpily. "Awh, I'm sorry Camzi, Demi was just being a dick." I say and Camz looks towards me annoyed.

"I was not, thank you very much." Demi defends.

"I believe Lauren sorry to say." Aph says creeping behind Lauren.

"Uh huh." Camz contests.

"Stuff you guys." Demi says and walks away.

That leaves Aph, Camz and I together.

"I thought I'd make you two breakfast in bed before we begin." Aph says walking towards us with two trays.

"Choc chip pancakes with cad-bury syrup, and a earl grey tea for Camila. And for Lauren, a black coffee with a sugar, and a glazed doughnut." Aph says putting the trays upon the bed.

"Thanks Aph but how did you know this was my favourite breakfast?" Camz questions and I nod.

"You are the exact same as your parents." She says laughing and walking away.
