Just a hop, skip and jump to Olympus

Chapter 9

Lauren's POV

Demi, Camila and I all apperate with the two gods joining us. i closed my eyes for a second and the next we are in front of the Empire State building in New York. Camila looks at me and smiles. 

"If you three would follow us inside we can then go to Olympus for supplies and to a quick briefing from Poseidon." Says Athena.

"Mom, I thought Poseidon and you were enemies." Camila asks.

"Sometimes, your enemy can also be your closest allie." Says Athena.

"Is that why you and your siblings don't talk to me?" Asks Demi.

"You've got to understand that's how my siblings told me to act around you. I actually want to get to know you though. I just hope you're nothing like your cousin." Camila says.

"Does it look like I'd be like him? If you had asked Dinah, she would tell you we are basically twins except I'm a bit more strategic then her." Demi says looking at Camila.

"Okay you two we better follow the Gods as I don't know, they are taking us to Olympus." I say which causes them to look at me and the two Gods standing  behind me waiting for them to stop their little conversation.

"Now if you would follow us into this elevator." Ares says guiding us through the building.

We all stand in the elevator when I notice an omega symbol button which Athena then presses and we start moving. Up and up we go until I notice that the elevator is beginning to shake violently. The three of us demigods begin to screem until we come to sudden stop.

"We really need to fix that." Ares says chuckling.

All of us step out of the elevator onto a golden path. Looking around I can see that we are higher then the clouds and there are multiple buildings surrounding us.

"Ladies welcome to Olympus." Athena says now guiding us to a massive building in the centre of the city.

Looking around we are all in awe as the architecture surrounding us is impeccable. The carvings of angels and monsters are amazing and large scale. I look to Camila whose eyes are wide and pupils dilated. 

"This place is amazing." Demi says in shock.

"You're amazing." Someone says from behind us. We all turn around and the goddess Aphrodite to which Demi then runs up and embraces her.

"I missed you baby." Says Aphrodite embracing her.

"Baby?" Camila asks.

"I missed you too Aphie." Demi says kissing the Goddess.

"What the actual fuck?" I ask and Demi pulls back looking at us.

"Oh right, um guys Aphrodite is my girlfriend." Says Demi and we all are silent. "It happened on a quest and it kinda stuck, plus I'm immortal and never age so it's kinda perfect." 

"Fair enough." I say and Camila hits me. "What?"

"A God and a Demigod in a relationship, how does that happen?" She asks.

"You fall in love with who you fall in love with, you don't have a choice in the matter, trust me." I say and Aphrodite looks at me.

"She's right you know." Aphrodite says and Camila rolls her eyes.

Ending our conversation we all start our journey to the building where we are meeting Poseidon, aka Demi's father.
