Jaeun's POV

I looked over at my phone and sighed in nervousness.

It's finally the day.

I walked through the door and a gush of cold wind blew against me. I walked towards the counter and she smiled as she passed me a card.

" This will be your access card for the rest of your life under SM entertainment. " I nodded and walked to the lift lobby where I met my idol.

" G-Girls' Generation ?! " I whispered to myself as They stood behind me and I heard them chuckling while talking about the past.

Just then , the lift came and I was about to enter when I dropped my phone.

I froze at my spot as Yoona picked up my phone and passed it to me. I bowed to her and thanked her , I also bowed to the rest of the members.

" Are you a trainee here ? " Yuri asked.

" Obviously she is , Yuri-ah ! " Sooyoung said and I chuckled.

" They are a little mentally unstable. " Yuri whispered to me and I chuckled again.

" They kept calling me Yuri-ah , after that weekly idol episode. " She whined to me as HyoYeon dragged her away.

" Sorry , she's very unstable. " All the members sniffed a laugh while Yuri glared at them.

Just then , I reached the level that I wanted to go. I bowed to them before leaving.

I looked at the slip of paper the counter person gave me. I walked towards the room located at the end of the hallway.

I opened the door slowly and found a group of people spread across the room. Some are leaning against the wall while some are sitting.

I entered the room and soon it became pin drop silence as everyone stared at me.

" Hi , I'm Kim Jaeun. Please take care of me. " I said and smile at them. They smiled back at me and soon the atmosphere became like how it was before.

" Hi ! I'm Sae ! " A really good looking girl said to me. I smiled at her and was about to introduce myself again when a guy came to me.

" Yo , The name's S- "

" His name is not important. " He frowned at her.

I wondered how are they so chill with each other. Are they perhaps couple or something ? They seem really close.

" Are you guys couple ? " They burst into laughter and started making disgusted faces towards each other.

Sae wrapped her arm the guy and smiled at me.

" His my twin brother but as you can see , I obviously got the better genes. " I chuckled as she pushed her brother towards me.

" His name is Shin. " I looked over at Shin as he awkwardly waved at me.

Just then , the instructor arrived and she seemed really strict. She looked around the room and spotted me.

" You , Perform here. " My eyes widened and I was pushed to the front to perform something that I'm confident of.

" I'm going to sing Speak Now by Taylor Swift. " The instructor nodded and I started singing. Since my classmates were so supportive and complimented me , I thought they would think the same.

But I was wrong.

Instead of receiving applause , I got reprimanded by the instructor saying that I shouldn't even get into SM because I'm not good enough.

" You guys are going to go for your Vocal lesson now and someone obviously needs it. " She said before leaving the room.

" All trainees experience this but what group are you in ? " They looked at my paper and they squealed , well more like Sae Squealed.

" We are in the same group ! " I smiled as she dragged Shin and I to the Vocal training room where there sits a male trainer sitting in front of the recording studio booth.

" Mr Jang ! We are here ! " Shin said as we entered the room. The vocal instructor eyed me and told me to get into the booth and sing a song.

Not again.

I sang Jar of Hearts by Christina Perri this time. After I'm done , he told me to meet him after the lesson.

The lesson continued and soon it was time to leave the room. I stayed back to speak to the teacher and he showed me the paper he wrote on.

" What's your name ? " He asked since he didn't know me and didn't ask for my name before.

" Jaeun. " He nodded.

" From what I've heard , your voice quality is pretty good but it's about your techniques. Your voice is rather airy but it's clear. " I nodded.

" So What I want to work on is your chest voice and how you can strengthen it. Your vocal range is pretty limited as well but I believe you can do better. " He smiled at me and I smiled back.

He looked at the clock.

" Your still early , alright you can go now. " I bowed to him before running towards the dance room for my dance lesson.

" What did Mr Jang say ? " Sae asked and i told her whatever that He've said. She smiled and patted my head.

" You talented little bean. " I looked at her weirdly and Shin apologised on her behalf while I just chuckled.

" Is the dance instructor fierce ? " Shin nodded and Sae smiled before telling me that she might be fierce but she's really patient in teaching you.

Just then , the door opened and everyone stood up.

We bowed and greeted her. She told me to dance in front of the class and I did. I tried to seem really passionate but she saw through it.

" Be yourself. " I nodded and continued dancing.

The music ended and she came to the front and told me to meet her after this lesson. I guess she's going to tell me what's my flaws and what she's going to work on.

She made us do warm ups which is literally splits. I can't even do half a split like what , how am I going to do a 180 degree split ?

She pushed my body down and I couldn't feel my legs anymore. It's so sore and numb that I don't know how to describe.

" Your dancing is pretty average but I think you need to work on the emotions in dance. I think overall you can do better. " I nodded and I left the class.

Life as a trainee sure is hard.

HO-HO-HOLIDAY !!

YAS ITS MY QUEEN'S 10TH YEAR ANNIVERSARY !!

They made me found my passion and i'm really grateful for it !! Even though it isn't the same like how it is back then but I believe they made many happy memories !! :)
