Marinette was still lost in thought when she left school, still registering what happened.

"Okay," she thought."I showed up to school late, bunked heads with Adrien, nearly got obliterated by my teacher, and in the end was told to show my teacher a fake group project..."

"Hey Marinette!" Adrien said.

Marinette turned to see Adrien standing next to her, he had his scarf on again.

"O-Oh, ah... HI Adrien!" Marinette said, with her usual awkward smile.

"I know it was out on a whim when we made up the lie about the project, but it would only be common courtesy to help after you saved my butt right?"Adrien asked.

"U-Uh huh" Marinette said.

"When do you want to meet up?" Adrien asked.

"Ah, five maybe? We can meet whenever or wherever you want I don't know..." Marinette said.

"No, five is fine. I'll tell Natalie. Do you want to meet at the park?" Adrien asked.

"S-Sure Adrien." Marinette responded.

"Yeah, ok. See you later then!" Adrien said as
he walked off.

Marinette watched as Adrien walked off in the distance. Her heart still thumping from the encounter.

"UGH, get back on track Marinette, it's not like your crush kind-of-asked-you-out-but-not-really!" Marinette thought.

"But still, this project is supposed to be shown to her by tomorrow." Marinette said, clearly distressed.

"You don't need to worry about it. It's not like you have to do anything special." Alya said, coming up from behind her.

Marinette jumped back a bit, startled by her sudden appearance.

"Listen, everything will be fine you have Adrien," Alya said comfortingly "You and him seem like the ultimate team."

"You know, you guys seem like such a good team, it's almost like-" Alya stopped and realized that Marinette stopped listening awhile ago.

"Mari?" Alya said, a bit confused why she stopped. Was it something she said?

"Oh, oh no, not good at all" said Marinette, looking up at the sky.

Alya looked up and followed the direction of Marinette's gaze.

Blots of purple light were shooting up in the sky. It was near the museum.

Alya then shifted her eyes to the street, and saw several news cars speeding down the road trying to get info on the action.

"Yeah not good at all, my blog is suffering from its loss of info," Alya said " Sorry Mari, I have to hurry to get their before it's too late."
