Her words flowed like the ocean
And broke upon the shore.
Underneath the moon and stars
The waves, they would encore.
A soliloquy of feelings
Rolled with the great blue sea,
Secrets rode the white-tipped waves
As she set her stories freeHe listened to the stories;
The sound of waves collapsing,
The wind, a million memories,
The currents always asking.
He waded in the water,
Helped her problems sink away
And then the sea lay deadly calm,
No more whispers of the waves••••
