Abyss: Night Mist VS. Dark Matter: Adapted For Battle

All Battles Are Happening At The Same Time

Night Mist had reached the end of the metal hallways. She entered a massive room, big enough to fit an entire sky scraper in it. With her enhanced vision, she saw who her opponent was. At the end of the hallway stood a humanoid being with white, metallic skin, and red glowing lines covering it's body. This was Dark Matter, the Abyss Union's version of Overdrive. She stood looking at him, her red eyes shining brightly.

"I do not understand why you are doing this," said Night Mist.

"It's simple really," said Dark Matter. "All we want is our Multiverse back."

"It is not our fault you lost your," said Night Mist. "And you can just live in this one along with everyone else."

"We are gods, we see no reason why I should listen to such in inferior version of Nigh Venom," said Dark Matter. Suddenly, the red light coming from his body intensified. He blasted towards Night Mist, his entire body coated in energy. He dealt a side kick, but it was blocked by Night Mist. She then teleported behind him, and her hand was covered in energy. She punched Dark Matter, sending him flying through the air.

"Inferior or not, I still have all your powers, and more," said Night Mist. She sped up, dealing multiple kicks and punches at Dark Matter, but he just blocked them with his hands. Even though his face showed no expression, Night Mist could tell he considered himself more important than everyone else here. And the fact that he called himself a god annoyed her to no end.

"I can see you are not as violent as your counter part, perfect," said Dark Matter. Night Mist felt a hand grab her from behind, and tossed her back. When she looked up, Dark Matter ran towards her, and dealt a kick so powerful, it made a crater on the ground. He then picked up Night Mist by the neck, and dealt a powerful punch into her stomach, sending her flying through the air.

"Damn ants, crawling through the ground, it sickens me to no end," said Dark Matter, "You are all inferior to me. Instead of fighting me, you should be bowing down, and taking orders from the true gods."

Night Mist darted towards him, and behind her, multiple spheres of light formed. The spheres blasted at Dark Matter. Then Night Mist's hands turned into black blades, and she swung them down into Dark Matter. He punched the ground, and a wave of energy hit all of Night Mist's attacks, and repelled them back. Night Mist fell face down on the ground. As she looked up, a powerful kick hit her chin, and she was sent hurling back, where she landed on the floor, creating another dent.

"You can't beat an Infinisapien!" yelled Dark Matter. "My species were created to be gods among a Infiniverse filled with nothing but insignificant bugs. At least my companions in Abyss Union get that much."

Night Mist looked up at him, and in the distance she saw a metal door, and she new behind it, there was a main control panel.

"I need to fix this," she said weakly, her hand reaching out towards the door.

"I won't give you a change," said Dark Matter. Then multiple copies of him appeared all around the room, all aiming at Night Mist with their hands. A red energy started to charge up in their hands.

"This is the end, Alpha League," they all said at the same time, and blasted Night Mist. She created a shield around her, protecting her from most damage. She fell back, he clothes torn, and a bloody gash on her side. It was healing slowly, due to her powers, but she was so damaged it was taking too long. She stood up, and prepared herself for the incoming attacks. Suddenly Night Mist heard a voice in her head.

"Mist!" yelled the voice. It belonged to Overdrive.

"Overdrive!? What is going on?" said Night Mist in her mind. She continued to dodge the attacks from Dark Matter.

"We Infinisapiens have multiple minds, so we can be in multiple places at once," explained Overdrive. "That doesn't matter, the group needs your help."

"Really busy dealing with Dark Matter!" yelled Night Mist.

"You are fighting him?" asked Overdrive. "You winning?"

"No I'm not winning," said Night Mist. "I have his same powers, and pretty much everyone else's powers, but I am still losing."

"That must mean he is using his second stage of power. We Infinisapiens lock part of our power away, and release it when needed. Even here I can feel the power, you have to unlock the rest of your Infinisapien power," said Overdrive.

"After that haw do I beat him?" said Night Mist.

"You do the same as Night Venom, mess up his powers from his DNA," said Overdrive. "When I saw him I knew he was not like me in one thing, well apart from his mind. He is a biological type Infinisapien. He has DNA."

"I can't mess up DNA!" yelled Night Mist.

"Just combine some of your powers, something must work out right?" said Overdrive, "After that, well, I will send you the rest of the info-GAH!!!!"

The entire base shook, and a wave of energy engulfed the whole place. Some parts even cracked, but they were soon fixed by the power that came from the machine.

"Overdrive!?" yelled Night Mist, but this time there was no response heard.

"Overdrive? Well he is surely dead," said Dark Matter. "Negamatrix never really knew how to hold back."

Dark Matter blasted a red energy beam at Night Mist, who created an force field in front of her. She concentrated her power into the Infinisapien part of her DNA. Then she felt a new wave of power through her, and her red eyes glowed brighter.

"You finally decided to get serious? This will be more fun!" yelled Dark Matter. He blasted towards Night Mist, and she did the same. Their bodies were engulfed with light, and they crashed into each other. They punched each other, speeds surpassing light by a long shot. Shockwaves resonated along the entire base, as the opponents attacked each other with full force.

At the same time, Night Mist was going through her list of powers, and it was a HUGE list. She was trying to combine multiple ones that would have the same effect as Night Venom's power to disarrange DNA. She then finally found a perfect combination, giving her the power she needed.

She kicked Dark Matter in the face, sending him flying back, but he stopped himself by putting his fist through the ground, making a fissure on the ground as he slowed down. He then blasted towards Night Mist, his body engulfed in power. Multiple copies of himself appeared, all surrounding Night Mist, and darting towards her.

"Time to end this!" yelled Night Mist, as she blasted towards one of her. They all attempted to grab her, but she teleported behind one of them, touched his shoulder with her hand. Suddenly all copies of him disappeared, until the one Night Mist was holding remained. His body was covered in red, electric-looking energy, and his body kept changing shapes out of control. Night Mist held on, as Dark Matter finally turned into nothing but a black puddle on the ground, and all energy that came from him disappeared.

Night Mist fell back, completely exhausted. She was breathing heavily, and having trouble keeping her eyes open. She turned her head around, and with her enhanced vision saw the door in the distance. Using the rest of her power, she teleported towards it, and touched the panel next to it. She touched it, and sent a wave of energy through it, making the door open. At the end of the hallway, she saw a control panel. She quickly ran towards it at amazing speeds, and started decoding the multiple programs. She then turned that part of the base off. She sat down on the floor, even more exhausted. She then felt a massive wave of energy wash over the entire base, like before. But this one felt different.

"I still need to do something," said Night Mist, remembering the last thing Overdrive told her. She put her hand up, and a golden light surrounded it. She then send the light through the entire base, in hopes it would help her teammates, just like Overdrive said. She then laid back to rest, completely tired.

"Your turn guys," she said as she rested on the ground.
