Sisters: Despair

Chapter 5

"We have to go," said Temporis as she woke up Flame.

"Yeah... I'm ready," said Flame as he got up and grabbed the Flame Blade.

"Alright. Before we go you should put on this," said Temporis as she handed Flame a black hooded cape.

"What is this?" asked Flame as he grabbed it.

"It is an Infinisapien cape. A bit cheap, but it should give you a stealth boost, so no one should be able to detect you," said Temporis, "And it also has a special ability. It should allow you to deal one super powered punch matching that of an Infinisapien's. Then it will take three hours to recharge."

"Wow. Where did you get it from?" asked Flame.

"It was a gift from an old soldier a long time ago," said Temporis, "It was the first edition of those capes, so it is not as strong as recent models."

"I see," said Flame as he put the black cape on, "Thanks. I'll put it to good use."

"Are you ready for this?" asked Temporis as she and Flame ran towards the palace.

"Yeah, I'll follow your lead," said Flame.

The two soon reached the palace. The wedding was about to get started and the king and queen were already below. Temporis was allowed to go up with Flame. After leading Flame to the fourth floor, they reached a window that overlooked the wedding. Flame was amazed by the decor of the lower places of the palace. It was filled with paintings and fancy furniture along with hundreds of other things. It was definitely better than castles in ancient times on Flame's planet.

"Alright, activate the cape's special abilities by pouring a bit of your energy into it," said Temporis. Flame focused a small amount of his power into the cape. It glowed purple for a second, showing that it had been activated.

"I'm ready. I'll wait here, you go to the wedding," said Flame.

"Yes. I'll make an illusion to make it seem as if you left with me," said Temporis as she began to walk away, but before she left she turned to see Flame.

"What is it?" asked Flame.

"I just wanted to thank you for trying to protect the soon to be queen," said Temporis, "Hail the king."

Temporis then left to attend the wedding, while Flame waited from above. The wedding was huge, with tons of people attending. Flame looked upon the crowd but could not see the sisters below. King Damiron was below, waiting for his bride. Flame only had one chance to fix this. If he could stop the murder, and get the king to agree to lock them up, he should stop any future events. Including the Infinisapien extinction.

Fifteen passed, and the wedding began. From what Flame saw, it was really similar to human weddings. Flame could see many soldiers and knights protecting the entrances from all around. Temporis was standing guard far away, seeing if Exitus and Exitium were anywhere near.

"There comes the queen," said Flame as he saw a woman walking down wearing a white dress. Still no sing of either of them.

"Looking for someone?" said a female voice behind Flame. He turned around in fear just as he was slammed into the wall. He saw Exitus holding him by the neck. She looked different, not as twisted as before.

"Exitus? Where is Exitium!?" yelled Flame.

"You are here for us aren't you? Why else would you be standing here looking down," said Exitus.
