Seulgi nervously took Joy's hand, standing up. Frankly, she was terrified. Was she about to lose her virginity to some man she's never met? She was planning to save herself for the one who was for her. . .

"Do you think I'll have to. .do something today?" Seulgi asked, the question making her uncomfortable.

Joy seemed to understand her question and gave her a small sympathetic smile.

"You are quite pretty, but maybe we won't have much business tonight," she tried to assure her. Seulgi nodded, silently agreeing. She'll be fine, right?

Joy pulled her down the hallway, back towards the velvet curtains she had been brought through by that Jin man. The room that had once been empty was filled with hundreds of people, or at least that's what it felt like to her. Girls were moving from table to table as guests were either dancing on the dance floor or sitting at the tables. Most were men, but there were occasionally women here and there.

"Seulgi, you'll shadow Joy until you can handle being by yourself," Jin had told them when Seulgi followed Joy to pick her things she needed for "waitressing."

Joy nodded and smiled at Seulgi. "Looks like your my little assistant. I'll try to make sure you won't have to do anything too. .crazy."

Seulgi smiled at her thankfully. She wasn't sure if she was mentally prepared to do what most of these girls have been doing for years.

So, for about an hour, Seulgi followed Joy around, table to table. She made sure to smile at everyone and tried to keep a happy mood, even when they made sneer comments about her from behind her back, which she could hear anyways.

About an hour in, another man, who seemed like another authoritative figure like Jin, approached the pair.

"Joy, the boss is here. You're taking his table."

Joy opened her mouth to protest, but thought about it and closed it, taking a deep breath. She didn't want to cause trouble. She opened her eyes and smiled warmly at Seulgi.

"Come on, let's get to the boss before he gets impatient."

She nodded reluctantly, not very fond of this so-called boss. He didn't exactly make the best impression the first time she met him.

But besides the fact, Seulgi followed Joy to a table sectioned off from all the other tables. She noticed 7 men in black, laughing as they all shared drinks together. She also noticed two petite women in between some of them, one she recognized as Irene. One of the boys noticed the two girls approaching the table, notifying the boss. He looked up from the phone and smirked at the incoming girls.

"Joy, Seulgi, how nice of you to join us," he announced arrogantly.

"Boss," Joy respectfully bowed her head. Seulgi simply stared at the man, remembering their conversation from earlier.

"Are you not going to at least acknowledge me, Seulgi?" He questioned, amusement evident in his eyes. She hated how he said her name.

"No."

The whole table seemed astonished at her answer.

No one dared to go against the boss. No one.

"I'm sorry, boss, you know how she's new and al--"

He held up a hand to stop Jin's rambling. Instead, he continued to stare at Seulgi, giving her chills.

"Why don't you stay here with us, Seulgi? Joy, go fetch us some beers," He finally said. Joy left, confused, leaving Seulgi, who was even more confused. Was he not mad?
