"Why are you curious about this?" Hee Yeon asked slowly after a waitress came to give your drinks.
"I just wondered.. you know that Chanyeol plans to leave?" you sighed, "I mean I don't know how he'll do it but he seemed pretty confident about it. And I was curious wether it has something to do with how he became angel of death or not."
Hee Yeon took a sip of her drink and advised you mysteriously "Y/N. If Park Chanyeol wants to leave and most importantly if he succeeds.. you should be careful ok? At least for a few weeks. Never stay alone and watch out. That's all I can say."
"You know something right?" you pushed "there's something you're not telling me. Isn't it Hee Yeon?" You wished she would tell you.
"Y/N.. I'm doing it for your own good. I will reveal you only one thing so you can be careful for the days to come." She looked around then looked right into your eyes and smiled, she smiled because she loves you and cares about you. And it filled your own heart with love. "Taehyung became an angel of death by sacrificing himself."
"What?!" Well that was unexpected.
"Yeah.. you become an angel of death when you die instead of someone esle wilfully. Taehyung told me that one day when he was human, decades ago, his parents were on a trip for their 20th anniversary of marriage and he had to take care of his 14 years old little sister. But the girl almost got into a car accident crossing the street to meet some friends. And instead, Taehyung ran, pushed her away and got hit by the car instead of his sister."
Hee Yeon's hands were shaking, and so were mine.
"I didn't imagine his story to be tragic.." you whispered, tears almost falling out of yours eyes.
"I know I cried my eyeballs out when Tae told me his story" she laughed sadly, "so be careful his Chanyeol wants to leave it means someone will have to replace him and it might me someone we know or someone we don't."
I frowned "Do you mean it might be me? Is this my last life?" You asked a little worried.
"I don't know I'm sorry" Hee Yeon revealed.
