Its been 3 years since that date and and I'm so glad I went on it. Damien never found his mate and our just freinds went to a full blown relationship. We mated but never marked each other because I didn't want to take his chance of a mate away from him. For the most part iI had got over the fact of what had happened between second chance mate and my so called best friend. They had had 2 children and then when she found her mate she left him and the children for her mate. Only for her mate to get her to his pack and reject and send her right on back. It was quite funny actually but I never commented on it. I was happy and every thing was looking up.

The Alpha was ready to retire and we were throwing a big party tonight to hand down the alpha position to Damien. And Damien said that since he hadn't found his mate he was mark me and take as his mate. I was ao excited but also worried. I'd been feeling down and sick which was odd because there very few things that made a werewolf sick. So going to the pack doctor I found out that I was pregnant. I was so excited but I didn't know how Damien was going to take the news and plus I had to make sure that all the rooms were set for out guest arrival. Everything was going smoothly. The rooms were set, the food was almost ready, and the room the party was being held in was having the finishing touches put on it now.

Deciding that everything was in order I went ahead and went to my room to get ready for the night. I first went and had a shower and shaved and washed my hair. Getting out of the shower, I wrap a towel around me and then my hair and then go into my room. Once I'm dried I rub my favorite warm vanilla sugar lotion into my skin. I then go into my closet and bring my dress from my closet to my bed.  I then go into the bathroom and blow dry out the rest of my hair and then flat iron straight. I then procede to do my make up.

Looking in the mirror, I'm please with the smokey eye that I've done with a little bit of mascara and eyeliner. Adding a vamp red lipstick to finish off the look. Satisfied with my makeup I go back into my room and get dressed. The dress I chose was a nude dress with a black lace overlay. It was a beautiful dress and I was sure Damien would love it. Putting on the nude pumps that matched the nude of the dress. I looked myself over in my full length mirror and decided I was ready. Looking in the mirror to make sure that my stomach didn't show. When I saw no indication I left my room to greet Damien and his parents in the foryer so that we could all be together while greeting out guests.

Everything was going great. The visiting Alpha's and Luna's were all showing up on time and some even brought their families and that's when everything went wrong.

The last Alpha family to show up was the Shadows. They were a family known far and wide for there strength and thier brutality. We were the only pack on par with them and the only one they ever associated with. There was rumor they had a daughter and the Alpha quickly removed said rumor from circulation. But standing here I know the rumor to be true.

"Hey Marc. Thank you for coming. I see you brought the daughter you hid away all those years ago." My Alpha states.

" I see your son is still mateless, but I see he's choosen a strong woman to be by his side." Alpha Shadows states.

" Yes she's a one of kind and the pack loves and accepts her." Alpha states proudly.

"Well that doenst seem like he's smitten with her now. He has his eyes on our daughter just as she is smitten with him. I think your son is no longer mateless and his choosen is no longer nessacary as my daughter is his true mate." Luna Shadows states smugly.

" Thank you for holding my spot, my name is Serenity. whats your name?" she asked as she held her hand out to me.

I wasn't here, I thought he had no mate. I thought he was mine. But who was I to get in the way of mates and I knew that he wouldn't like if I disrespected her. So with a heavy heart I raised my hand to shake hers and plastered a fake smile on my face.

" My name is Areaia. It's lovely to meet you and the pack will a little hesitance torward you because where you come from but with time they'll come to love you. You seem like a sweet girl." I say taking my hand from hers.

Turning torward everyone but not even glacing a look at Damien, I say" i'll just go take a seat inside, you can go ahead and have my seat since you are the rightful luna and i'll find an empty chair at the un named tables in the back."

About to make my way into the dinning room, I'm stopped as Serenity's brother said" you can take her seat at our table. There's no point at putting you all the way in back when up until just about 5 miuntes ago you were obvisouly somebody important to both Damien and this pack."

" If it's ok with your parents. I dont want to intrude. I'm ok with sitting in the back" I state confiedently.

"My parents are cool with it, aren't you mom and dad." He states and everybody looks at the Alpha and the Luna waiting on thier response.
