Hey guys! This chapter is really short! I promise it gets better soon, as Nash is very close to being introduced in to the story! :)
----------------------------------------------------
"Oh Alaina, darling you don't have to knock anymore. Just come right in from now on".
That's Finns mom, Pauline. A small women, with a warm face. She's like a mom to me. Especially now. I come here every day after school to visit Finn. It's become my second home.
I walked into the spectacularly clean house. The smell of freshly baked cookies hovering in the air.
"He's just in here, darling" Pauline told me, guiding me towards Finns bedroom.
He lay on his bed. Watching a film. His head propped up by his skinny arm.
"Hey Alai" he smiled as he saw me making my way to him.
"Hey, Finn how's it going?" I asked flopping down beside him.
"Ah same old, same old. You?"
"Yeah. Living my boring life as usually. Oh, Tiffany Livingston is pregnant, with Ryan Massey's baby. Reagan Stevenson found out and went ape shit. Dumped Ryan and slapped Tiffany."
"Seriously? Wow. I'd love to of seen Tiffany's face after the slap. Damn. I miss school" his face fell.
Finn hasn't been at school for 5 months now. He is too weak. Spends most of the time in bed.
"I'm sorry Finn"
"Don't be Alai" he half smiled
We watched the film and talked for a few hours until I had to go.
"I better go Finn" I stood up placing a kiss on his bare head.
His hair fell out about 2 months ago. Not seeing Finn sort his hair every five minutes took a while to get used to."Later Alai. I'll see you again once the sun has burned out."
"What does that even mean?" He has always said that.
"Bye Alai" he waved me away avoiding my question.
Strange boy.
