"Oh my gosh we are in Italy!" Kacey screeched stepping out of the airport into the blazing heat of the Venice sun.

"I know!" I said clapping my hands with excitement.

"Come on, the taxi is over here" Cam said leading us to the vehicle.

"Belmond Hotel, per favore" Cameron told the cab driver as we all piled into the small car.

"Sì, Signore" The driver replied with a strong Italian accent and drove off onto the busy roads.

"Ecco qua" the driver said stopping outside a tall building of 3 stories, each lined with petit balconies.

We all looked at Cam hoping for a translation but he just shrugged his shoulders and payed the driver. None of us know much Italian.

We reached the Hotel Foyer, being greeted by a warm faced, plump man dressed in a crisp white uniform.

"Buon pomeriggio, Signore, Madame. Benvenuti all'Hotel Belmond." He said opening the grand wooden doors.

We stepped into the lobby, trailing our suitcases across the light marble flooring.

"Ciao! How can I help?" Said the young receptionist, in a perfectly fitted charcoal suit. Wearing her hair in a tight elegant bun.

"Ciao! A room for Dallas?" Cam said politely.

"Ah Sì! Here is your key. Stefan and Nicho will take your luggage and show you to your room" she smiled widely gesturing her arm towards two young men in the same white uniform.

They took our bags and lead us up a small section of stairs to bronze doored elevators.

"Here you go" one of the men said opening one of the many doors once we landed on the second floor. "The two bedrooms are through those two doors to the right, which are both equipped with lovely bathrooms. As you can see this is the lounge area with a joint kitchen. And those doors towards the back give you access to the beautiful balcony. Godetevi il vostro soggiorno" He finished leaving the room with a smile.

As soon as the door closed I began to look around. In the living area a gorgeous cream corner sofa with red silk cushions sat in front of a great plasma television and a glass coffee table was placed on a red rug.

The kitchen was lined with several pine cabinets and a sleek black marble worktop.

Both bedrooms had a large double bed placed in the centre of the room, covered with a soft white duvet, and a silky red runner laid across the bed. A modern wooden wardrobe was placed by the wall, and a small plasma TV hung from the wall opposite the bed.

The en suites had a luxuries white enamel bath tub, and a corner shower with a grey marble base. Along with the necessities such as a toilet and a sink.

I walked out to the balcony which was lined with a glass barrier. The view was gorgeous. It looked on to the clear blue sea and the sun beated down onto the old buildings which lined the street.

This hotel was absolutely amazing.

"Come on, Alaina we are going to the restaurant down stairs" Nash shouted from the living area.

We quickly made our way down to the restaurant. It was a big ball room scattered with round tables, which were covered with a red cloth and flowers were placed in the middle as a centre piece.

We took our seats at a table and a waiter approached us immediately asking what we would like.

We all decided on Spaghetti Bolognese as we weren't able to understand the other foods written in Italian.

"So Nash, what do you want to do tomorrow?" Kacey asked as she swirled a piece of spaghetti around her fork.

"Well seeing as I am going to be eighteen I thought we could go to the club in the city?" He said waiting for our responses.

"Nash, I'm not eighteen yet!" Kacey said disappointed

"Oh, shit. Well I guess we can just do something else" he said quietly

"No, don't be stupid. I can just stay in the hotel, go to the spa or something" she said with a fake smile.

"No you will be on your own" Cameron added

"I'll stay with her" I piped up, which got a confused look from Nash. "You want to go to the club then go. It's your eighteenth. Have fun. Me and Kacey can have a girly night"

"Really?" He grinned "Thank you, Alaina" he leaned over and placed a soft kiss on my cheek.

"Don't worry Alaina, I will look after him" Cameron smirked

"You will not be a good influence" I scoffed

"Hey!" Cam exclaimed hurt "I'm wounded" he joked, placing a hand on his heart.

We all laughed at him and carried on with our meal before heading back to our room and falling fast asleep.
