His lips crashed on mine and the familiar scent filled my nostrils. His lips were moist and moved in sync with mine. With every time our lips parted, my head flooded with the memory of each one of our kisses, even back to our first date. I missed him, so I did everything in my power to enjoy this moment and securely keep it in my mind, for I didn't know when he would disappear out of my life once more. With every breath I took, each one of my worries seemed to vanish. It felt great to have him close once more. I pulled away and mentally scolded myself for doing it.

"My parents are just on the other side of the door," I laughed, the butterflies in my stomach were out of control. There was no doubt this boy had me crazy, ever since day one.

"Could we go out for lunch and talk? I'm sure we could both explain a lot of things," he suggested and I nodded. I was a little confused by us both having some explaining to do, but didn't mind it.

"Come inside, I can get ready and then we can go," I turned the knob and my family's attention was brought upon us. My father looked up from his newspaper and glanced over to my mother.

"Harry?" She asked, confused.

"Yes ma'am," he smiled and looked down at the floor a bit uncomfortable. She pushed herself out of her chair and ran towards him taking him in for a tight embrace.

"How nice of you to stop by," she looked at me and gave me a puzzled face, thrown off by our conversation last night.

She pointed at a chair and signaled for him to take a seat.

"Hello sir," Harry awkwardly waved at my father and shifted in his spot.

"Good morning Harry," my dad smiled back.

Ethan didn't say much but give Harry a couple of glares, I gave him a warning look before speaking, "I'm going to take a shower, I'll be back in a few."

I jogged up the stairs and entered the bathroom. I turned on the hot water, allowing it to get steamy before stepping inside. I lathered my hair with shampoo and taking in the sweet scent of vanilla. I scrubbed my body as fast as I could and made sure to shave in every place a girl should. I turned off the hot water and wrapped a beige colored towel around my soaking body. My feet hit the freezing floor and goosebumps rose all over my body. I opened the door and went in my old bedroom. Unzipping the duffel bag I had brought for this trip, I took a pair of panties and a bra from the top, along with a light pink blouse from the stack stepping in dark wash jeans. I dug for a beige knit cardigan and slid it on. I didn't want to leave Harry with my family for so long, knowing sooner or later things would get rather awkward. My entire family thought we were no longer a couple, yet he was having breakfast with them right this second.

I brushed my damp hair and brought it into a bun at the top of my head. Looking at my reflection in the mirror, I looked more put together than I had in a long time. I removed a brown side bag from a hanger on the door and placed my phone and money inside of it. I paced back downstairs finding Harry and my mom sitting alone in the dining room.

"Where's dad? And Ethan?" I asked.

"Your father is in his office, finishing up some paperwork for work. Ethan, well who knows where that boy went!" My mom giggled and Harry joined with a light chuckle.

"Mom, can I borrow your car? We're going to go grab some lunch." I asked slightly embarrassed my own car wasn't up and running to be used yet.

"Ethan's been working on fixing your old car actually, why don't you take yours for a ride?" She offered and I glanced over at Harry, "Alright." I agreed and took the keys from inside a kitchen drawer. I signaled towards the door leading to the garage and Harry followed. "Nice seeing you Mrs. Laura!" He waved at my mom and she sweetly smiled back.
