"Jesus is everyone here made of money?!" Con exclaimed as we climbed into Oliver's car "I thought this was another one of your dad's!" Con said turning to me, I was sat in the back with Con and Oliver in the front
"Don't worry, we've only got the two," I laughed as we slowly rolled down the driveway
"Still got his Aston Martin I take it?" Oliver asked, his eyes focused on the road
"Yeh, the boys were all amazed by it! Especially James." I said, even though I know that he has no real idea who James is
"Ah I would be too but I've got used to it." Oliver said glancing over to Con to see his reaction.
"Can you put the radio on?" I asked, even though the boys had become more comfortable with each other it still felt extremely awkward
Con pressed the 'On' button and music begins to blare out of the car speakers, and by music I don't really mean music I mean rap. In my opinion rap is just big headed men talking quickly to background music. I roll my eyes and sit deeper into my seat, I wasn't going to ask Oliver to change the music in his own car. I had never noticed before but Oliver's arms were really well built, in fact his face had slimed down and his whole body looked a lot more toned. I'm pretty sure he was never like that at school. I pull my phone out of my pocket and decide to go onto Instagram, I used to love Instagram and I would be on it 24/7 but I slowly grew out of it. I flicked through my photos and found one of Oliver and I from our last day of school, we were both doing extreme pouts it was hilarious. I post it tagging him in it and go onto twitter.
'@Grace_Brown: Day trip to Edinburgh with the boys @TheVampsCon and @OliverTate #PrayForGrace'
"Nice tweet," Con laughed before he retweeted it, "pray for Grace though? I would say pray for Con and Oliver is more appropriate, especially if we get involved with TopShop or Urban Outfitters!" He turned around to roll his eyes sarcastically
"Oi, it's not my fault! I'm just a girl," I said dramatically whilst tucking a piece my curly hair back behind my ear
"Why did you do your hair like that? What made you dye it blue?" Connor asked, a compleat change of subject but it's gets asked a lot so I was used to it
"First of all, it's only dip dyed blue, I first got it like this last year, it almost made me think I had some kind of superpower. I think the fact that most people were getting there hair dip dyed ombré made me want to but not follow the crowd in that sort of way. I wanted to stand out I guess." I told him, he nodded gently
"It's nice, I like it." He said, me making me blush
"I think we've arrived." Oliver said, parking out side of The Pompadour by Galvin, I had been here before a few times with my parents but judging but the look on Con's face, he had never eaten any where like this before.
"Grace, don't get your hopes up for dinner tonight being this good! What even is this place?!" Connor said, doing the gawping thing again as we got out of the car.
"It's French, but it's really expensive...Oliver are you sure about here?" I asked Oliver's head shooting round to look at me the second I said his name
"Yeh, we'll be fine!" He said his eyes quickly skimming me up and down and then Con too, we did not look the part.
I was wearing a pair of black acid washed ripped high wasted skinny jeans and my 'The Sums' t-shirt which Con obviously understood as I saw him laugh to himself when he arrived earlier this morning. Just incase you don't understand in one of my all time favourite Sum 41 songs 'Still Waiting', the beginning of the video is of the band talking to there manager who thinks they should change there name to 'The Sums', it's better in the video, (trust me!) I also had my trusty maroon patent Dr Martens on, which were just about falling apart. I didn't look quite as bad as Connor though who was wearing a pair of black skinny jeans (which looked about 5 years old) and a baseball t-shirt which had a lovely looking stain on the hem of it. We walked towards the restaurant Con and I hand in hand a few paces behind Oliver who was happily bouncing along in front of us. Just before we approached the door I noticed a memorable figure...Leah.
