Graces point of view:

I was quite glad that we were getting the train back home, and that McDonalds was only five minuets away from the station.

"Ahhhhh," I breathed as a sat down next to Con my feet were almost throbbing

"I know how you feel I'm exhausted!" Con said putting his arm around my shoulder. I lay my head on his shoulder and closed my eyes.

----------------------------------------------

"Hey Grace, were nearly back." Con told me gently shaking my shoulder

"I'm awake." I said picking up my shopping bags and heading towards the train doors

"Is it okay if I stay over at yours tonight?" Con asked, "I think the boys would be at the caravan by now and I know for a fact that James wouldn't come and pick me up." He laughed

"Yeh that's fine, I think that Autumns back from Uni tomorrow morning so my parents will be in a good mood." I laughed

"She better be hot! Your sister that is." He laughed as I gently slapped his cheek

"She nearly twenty one, I'm afraid you've got no chance mate!" I said as we stepped out of the train and onto the platform

"Fine urgh." He rolled his eyes, taking my hand which was shaking due to the cold

"Can we call a taxi to come and pick us up? I know were like a ten minute walk but I'm freezing and I can't be bothered walking." I said as we stood in the station building

"That sounds good, I think I'm feeling the same way!" He said I felt him shiver as he spoke, I shuffled in closer to him whilst I flicked through my phone for the taxi company number

Once I had found the number Con and I decided to find something to drink, preferably warm. We finally came across a drink dispenser where Con and I both got ourselves hot chocolates. We walked up to the car park where a very irritated looking taxi driver was stood.

"Are you Grace Brown?" He spat

"Um yeh." I replied as Con pulled me in tighter to him protectively

"Good, I've been waiting here for fifteen minutes hurry up." He said beckoning us to his taxi, it hadn't even been 10 minuets since I phoned for a taxi

"Actually-" I began

"Grace... just leave it." Con whispered to me pulling me into the silver car

We drove in silence until the driver switched on the radio. The Spice Girls came on, anyone who knows me will know that when I was eleven or twelve I was a huge Spice Girls fan. I began to hum along as Con turned to look at me and laughed.

"What?" I said trying to hold back a laugh myself

"The Spice Girls, really?" He asked still laughing

"Yeh! And you were never a fan?" I questioned him

"No! How dare you assumed that! Of course I was!" He said making me laugh

"If you wanna be my lover,

You gotta get with my friends,

Make it last forever

Friendship never ends!" We sung in unison whilst laughing which resulted in the taxi driver glaring at us through the mirror

"That's £20." The taxi driver told me as we pulled up the drive to my house

"Please." I said under my breath as I dug out my purse from my bag

I handed him a £20 note and opened the taxi door stepping out onto the hard path that led to my front door.
