Lauren sighed as she walked down the hall to her locker.
"Lauren! Hey!"
Lauren turned and saw Dean Cabello making his way towards her.
"What's up?"
"Are we meeting at my place or yours to work on the assignment?"
Dean and Lauren had been assigned as partners for a History project. Lauren didn't know him too well, but she knew him well enough to know he was a good guy.
"Uh, I guess yours. My parents are having company over tonight."
Dean nodded. "So... You need a ride? Or should I just give you the address and you can drive yourself?"
"I can drive myself. Just give me your address," Lauren stated, grabbing her books and Dean nodded.
He quickly wrote down his address on a small piece of paper and handed it to Lauren. She thanked him and pocketed it.
"Alright. See ya later," Dean said and walked off.
Lauren shut her locker and turned, only to see her best friend standing there with a smirk.
"Got a date?" Dinah asked with a smirk.
Lauren rolled her eyes. "Ew. No. We're simply working on a project. And I don't exactly swing that way, if you've forgotten."
Dinah laughed. "You seem tense."
"School. It's stressful."
"Well, we're seniors. This is our last year of high school, then we're free!" Dinah exclaimed, throwing her arms into the air.
"And then we gotta to to college," Lauren added.
Dinah rolled her eyes. "At least try to have some fun? You're 18! We graduate in 3 months. Live a little. You're not gonna be a teen forever, ya know."
"I guess..."
Dinah patted her back. "Come on. Let's go get lunch and stare at cute guys and girls."
Lauren laughed and the two headed towards the cafeteria.
-----
"....and I'll expect these some by Monday," the teacher said just as the last bell for the day rang."Have a good weekend," he called out after the students as they shuffled out of the room.
Lauren sighed in relief as she got to her car. 'I'd better change into something comfortable... God knows how long this project will take,' Lauren thought to herself and drove home.
After 30 minutes, she grabbed her phone and checked the time. It was currently 4:07.
"I'd better go now," she mumbled.
Lauren swiftly walked back out to her car, pulling out the paper with Dean's address. She typed the address into Google Maps on her phone, and smiled when she realized his house was just down the street from her own. It was so close that she decided to just walk. It was a nice day out anyway.

FanfictionLol sorry for the crappy titles But um yeah A lot of these are sad because I tend to write when I'm angry or upset, soo just a warning. Some of them are based off events from my life. I, obviously, do not own Camila or Lauren or the other character...
