"WAKE UP!" Mark yells in Taeyong's ear, causing Taeyong to jump, waking him straight up. Taeyong groans and rubs his eyes. He glares at his brother who was standing beside his bed, smirking at him.

"What do you want?" Taeyong grumpily says, laying back in bed. Mark slaps his shoulder.

"Get up. It's 12:30 and it's time for your outing." Mark says before leaving his room. Taeyong rolls his eyes and groans in annoyance.

Taeyong has been told to go out every weekend at least once in order to entertain himself or to calm himself down. Obviously, this never works for him. He hates having to go outside except for school.

Taeyong got dressed for the day and ate some breakfast before leaving the house. He hopped on his bike and rode into the city. He usually rides his bike wherever he goes. Bike riding helps him feel calm sometimes.

He stops in front of a café and walks inside. When he walks in, he immediately sees someone familiar, sitting alone a table. Rose was drinking a coffee and reading a book. Taeyong examined how calmed and focused she looked as she read. He shrugs it off by trying to walk past her.

"Taeyong!" Taeyong hears the familiar, squeaky voice say. He groans and turns around to face Rose.

"Look, I just came to get some coffee ALONE. I don't want any company." Taeyong rudely said, turning back around and walking towards the cashier. He stops when a small hand grabs his wrist. He turns to look at her.

"Aw, come on! Please?" She begged, bowing down to him. Taeyong rolls his eyes at her. She looks around the café and sees people smirking at them.

"Yah.. Don't bow down to me! Especially in public.. People might think you're my slave or something." Taeyong whisper shouted to her. Rose giggles and pulls him to sit down next to her. She raises her hand to the cashier.

"One more coffee, please?" She orders, having a smile on her face. Aigoo.. this girl won't ever stop smiling, will she? Taeyong thought to himself.

"So.. Lee Taeyong," Rose started, putting her bookmark on the page she left on and closes the book. "I thought you had better plans, huh?" Taeyong scoffs at Rose's statement.

"Yes, I do have better plans," Taeyong lies. "But you just somehow happened to ruin them."

"Well, I think I just made your plans even better!" She exclaims taking a sip out of her coffee. Taeyong glares at her.

"Park Rose, I want absolutely nothing to do with you. I hope you know that." He spat out, crossing his arms and leaning back on his chair. Rose sighs.

"That was a bit harsh. I just want to be friends, since I don't have any." She replies, looking down and stirring her spoon in her coffee. Taeyong laughs.

"I don't ever want to be friends with you. You're too.. happy. Too preppy. Just too... that." Taeyong says, gesturing at her. She giggles, making him feel weird.

"I believe that you and I would have a great, strong friendship. Someone like you needs someone like me in their life." She says, smiling brightly at him. He raises an eyebrow, chuckling at her.

"... and what makes you think that, eh?" Taeyong asks. She tilts her head, looking somewhere else. She thought of what to say back to Taeyong. Rose looks back at him.

"You're grumpy, and you also seem like no fun." She blurts out, laughing. He glares at Rose.

"Yah! That's not true!" He yells, defending himself. Rose was laughing so hard, which made him laugh a little bit too. A waiter comes out and puts the coffee in front of Taeyong. Taeyong bows slightly to the waiter and blows into the coffee a little to cool it down.

"Do you have any special friends?" Rose asks, taking a sip out of her coffee.

"Well, yeah duh! I have Jaehyun, Winwin, my brother-"

"Not like that, silly!" She says, laughing. Taeyong gives her a confused look and lifts up his coffee and takes a sip out of it.

"I meant do you have a girlfriend?" She says. Suddenly, Taeyong spits out the hot coffee from his mouth onto Rose's face. She gasps, looking down at the coffee dripping down her hair. She looks back at Taeyong, who had widened eyes. He sat there frozen and he had a look of horror on his face.

"I.. Um.. Th-The coffee was hot." He lied, still frightened. Rose laughs and grabs a couple of napkins next to her. She wipes her face and her hair.

"I'm guessing you don't?" She asks, setting down the crumpled, wet napkins next to her. Taeyong swallows the lump in the back of his throat and sets his coffee on the table, slumping in his chair.

"I never said I don't have one." He said, nervously looking down. Rose squeals.

"So you do have one! What's her name? How is she like? Is she sweet? Is she pretty?" Rose said, throwing all of these questions at him. Taeyong clears his throat and sits back up normally.

"Let's not talk about this, okay?" He nervously said, giving Rose an awkward, weak smile. She tilts her head in confusion.

"Why? Is there something wrong?" She asks, having a worried look on her face. Taeyong stands up from the table.

"I'm done with the coffee." He said, walking away. Rose quickly grabs her book, gives the cashier the money and runs after Taeyong. Taeyong was already getting on his bike and riding off. Rose sighs and starts walking back home.

"Rose!" She hears someone yell behind her. She turns back, hoping to see Taeyong. But she sees someone else run up to her.

"Jaehyun?" She asks, smiling at him, feeling a little disappointed. He smiles at her.

"I was walking by and I saw how Taeyong left you there. Aish, he can be mean. But don't go home yet! Wanna go to the park?" He asks, patting her head. She smiles and nods happily.

Taeyong arrived back home at 8 pm, which is a time much later than his family expected him to be home. He usually arrives home at 4 pm, but Taeyong was caught up with something else.

Taeyong walks into the living room and sees his parents looking at him with worried looks.

"Son, are you alright? Are you hurt?" Mrs. Lee asks, standing up and hugging her son. Taeyong gives his parents a confused look.

"I'm alright. Why so worried?" He asks, letting go of the hug.

"Well, you didn't text or call us that you were coming home late. You also don't usually come home this late.." His father said. Taeyong chuckles.

"I'm sorry for not contacting you earlier. I just needed some time alone. Thank you for worrying." Taeyong said, bowing to his parents. He walks upstairs and into his room, locking the door. He sits down on the floor by the corner of his bed and sighs. Taeyong hugs his knees and looks up to the ceiling.

"Help me, jagiya." He said, tears starting to form in his eyes. He puts his head down and starts sobbing. He sat there for the rest of the night, crying. His heart ached with pain and that was all he could feel inside of him.

Pain.
