"Good morning, Rose." Jaehyun said to Rose, approaching her at her locker and handing her a bottle of milk. She giggles, taking the milk from his hands.

"Thank you, Jaehyun. I had lots of fun this weekend." Rose said, grabbing her books and closing her locker.

Jaehyun and Rose hung out both Saturday and Sunday. The two of them went to the park, the café, and to some fast-food restaurants. Rose got to know Jaehyun better, and Jaehyun got to know Rose better. They both had a lot of similar interests, but they weren't considered friends just yet.

They were walking down the hall to go their first class together when Rose sees Taeyong at his locker. Rose smiles and stops walking. Jaehyun looks back at her.

"You go ahead. I'll catch up with you later, okay?" She said, patting his arm. He nods and waves goodbye before walking away. Rose looks over to Taeyong and walks over to him.

Rose taps his shoulder, seeing Taeyong turn his head to look at her. He immediately frowns when he sees Rose. She puts the bottle milk in front of him. Taeyong looked down at the bottle and then back at Rose.

"Good morning, Tae! Here's some milk if you want some." She said, smiling at him. Taeyong hesitates a little before slowly grabbing the milk from Rose.

"So about the thing at the café..." She said, but when she was going to continue, Taeyong walked away. She sighs and walks to class.

For the whole morning, Rose kept on trying to talk to him but Taeyong kept on ignoring her. He was annoyed with her because she couldn't understand that he didn't want to be around her. Taeyong has been trying so hard to ignore her, but she just kept on going to him.

At lunch, Rose followed him to his lunch table, making Taeyong pissed. She sat down next to him and offered him food but he ignored her. His friends noticed his coldness towards her, making them concerned.

"Taeyong, you should eat your lunch. It's getting cold." Rose said, taking a bite out of her sandwich. Suddenly, Taeyong slammed his hang on the table, starting everyone around him. He stands up and looks down at Rose, darting a nasty glare at her. Rose slowly looks up at him.

Taeyong has had enough of her.

"Who the hell do you think you are? Telling me what to do, following me, trying to help me, JUST STOP!" Taeyong yells at her, grabbing everyone's attention in the lunchroom. Rose looks at the people's stares. Some people were laughing or had frightening looks. She gulps and looks back up to Taeyong.

"I-I just wanted to be your friend." Rose innocently said, her bottom lip starting to quiver. Deeply into Taeyong's eyes, she could see anger, fear, and hurt all at once. What happened to you, Lee Taeyong?

"Just let the poor damn girl be." Johnny says. Taeyong ignores him and continues to glare into Rose's frightened eyes.

"I WANT NOTHING, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU! I HATE YOU! LEAVE! GET OUT OF MY LIFE! I DON'T NEED A STUPID, UGLY, CLINGY GIRL FOLLOWNG ME AROUND!" Those screaming words that came out of Taeyong's mouth flowed right into Rose's brain. All she could hear was Taeyong screaming at her. Rose was stunned by Taeyong's harsh words. They stuck onto her like glue, until she realizes.

It's all true.

Rose stands up, looking straight into Taeyong's eyes. Tears were streaming down her cheeks, and her vision was blurry. She was going to say something back to him but ended up running out of the lunchroom.

"Taeyong? What the hell.." Jaehyun says, shocked with what Taeyong just did. Taeyong was breathing slowly and deeply, trying to control himself. Finally, he sits down and continues eating his food. His friends were all watching him eat in silence. Yet, they were all worried for him and Rose.

Rose was on the floor, crying in the bathroom. Her sobs were loud enough for people to hear. Which was bad news for Rose. She could have sobbed to herself quieter, but she didn't.

"You!" a voice yells into the bathroom. Rose hears two girls walk inside and stop in front of her. Except, Rose didn't have to look up at who the girl's were. She already knew.

Pushes, kicks, and punches were thrown at Rose all over her body. She could feel the excruciating pain in her legs, arms, and stomach. The worst part was that Rose couldn't fight back, in which she had broke the deal. For good.

When Rose was left on the ground bruised and scratched, Jisoo and Lisa laughed at her. Her eyes were closed, but she could still feel tears falling onto her cheeks.

"This isn't the end of this, hun." Rose hears the voice of Lisa say into her ear, sending shivers down her entire body. She hears the girl's walk out and slamming the door shut.

That was when Rose finally opened her eyes to reveal the wounds on her body. Luckily, the girl's didn't injure her face, which meant Rose could easily hide the wounds on her body from her father. She was able to stand up and walk out of the bathroom, but humiliation and guilt was overpowering her.

And then just as she did on Friday, she ran away.

"What the hell were you thinking?" Mark yells at his brother, inside his room. Taeyong groans in frustration.

"She annoys the crap out of me and I couldn't stand her anymore." He admitted, looking out of his window. Mark runs his hand through his hair, pulling on it.

"Aigoo.. You made the poor girl cry!" Taeyong sighs at his brother's statement. He could still remember the look of horror on Rose's face. The look of betrayal in her eyes, as tears fell down on her cheeks. He could remember it all.

"Why do you hate her anyway? All she wanted was to be friends with you. Nothing else! Yet, you called her stupid, ugly and clingy!" Mark  added. Taeyong hesitated and buries his face in his hands.

"Her name reminds me of pink roses. How happy she acts reminds of the happiness I once had. Herself in general. It all reminds me of her. Too much." Taeyong truthfully said. He looks up at Mark, swallowing the lump in the back of his throat.

"Hyung, does she even know about what happened?" Mark asks, sitting down next to him on his bed. Taeyong shrugs.

"I never talked to her about it. I don't think she knows." He said, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Neo michyeosseo?! (Are you crazy?!) She doesn't even know about what happened yet you still yell at her like it's all her fault that you hate her!" Mark yells, slapping his brother on the head. Taeyong rubs his head from his brother's slap.

"Yah! I just don't trust her yet.." Taeyong replied, looking down at his lap. Mark sighs.

"You should trust her. Considering how much she wants to be your friend, she seems like a great person. Don't push her away. Become her friend." Marks says, patting Taeyong on the back. Taeyong shakes his head.

"But I have a promise to keep."

"How is becoming her friend breaking that promise?"

"It could provoke me."

"To do what, Taeyong?"

"To fall in love with her." Taeyong looks at his brother with sadness and hurt in his eyes.

"Liking her isn't falling in love with her, right?" Mark quietly says. Taeyong sighs.

"Like can turn into love, Mark. That's the problem about liking someone."
