Simon's POV

I was walking through the subway when she saw me. That was weird because I had put glamour on.

“ Excuse me, but, I'm lost. Do you know where the Death Motel is?" she asked.

“ You don't want to go there," I said worry growing on my face.

“ I have to. It's life or death," her hazel eyes looked up at mine.

“ Fine. Can I take you there?" I grit my teeth.

“ I don't see why not," she smiled,“ My name's Alexis, Lexi for short."

“ Mine's Simon," I smiled back a fake smile.

Sadness flashed through her eyes,“ Nice to meet you Simon," Lexi's smile faded entirely.

I wondered what I did to make her sad. Then it hit me, she liked me and saw through my fake smile. I felt kind of bad for her. I had no room in my life for relationships. On top of that, I still wasn't over Clary.

“ I think that's it over there. Bye," Lexi walked off knowing very well that what she pointed to was not the Death Motel.

I followed her,“ I'll walk you inside."

“ No. You don't want to," her voice shook.

“ Are you scared of the vampires?" I asked tentatively.

“ How do you kn...," she asked.

“ I am one." I interrupted.

She was scared now,“ W-w-why me?"

“ What do you mean?" I asked.

“ They said that they were going to turn me, and my family if I didn't come. I was so scared,” she started to cry,“ Then the letters came. Saying the Clave would be mad if I don't come soon."

The Clave? The last mundane who knew this much was him. And turned out badly.“ The Clave won't hunt you down. They don't do that. I don't know what they want with you, though."

“ I know this a lot to ask but will you come in with me?" Lexi asked looking up at me.

“ Of course. Come on. I'm curious to see what they want with you," I smiled this time it was genuine.

She let out a sigh,“ Thanks."

When she turned around, I sneaked(yes that is proper English I looked it up) a text to Jase saying that some serious stuff was about to go down and he should get his sorry ass over here before it was too late.

              Jase's POV

           A Glimpse Into The Future.

“ Jase, do you remember me?" a stranger asked.

“ No. Who are you?" I asked.

“ Jase...I'm your sister," the stranger said.

“ What?" I was completely confused.

“ Has he made contact with you?" she stepped closer.

“ Who?" I was overwhelmed.

“ Our dad." she said simply.

“ Who's that?"

“ Our father's name is...,” her voice faltered,“ Here let's start with my name. I'm Bethanny, and ours dads name is..."
